Discovered the original Dance Techno version of Ready to Go by Republica from 1996/1997 and it sounds more like something that would've been released in 1991/1992. It's solid and the lyrics tend to fit the vibe of the song better.

The more well known version is probably the hard rock version that's on their official channel. On one hand, it definitely fits the catchy chorus better but at the same time after listening to the original version, I kind of prefer that one more as more seems to be going on and the overall tone of the song seems to fit better as a dance track.
