Surround Stereo/Home Theatre Help

I'm considering getting some kind of surround setup. Doesn't need to be anything special, really. Just want at least one optical input for the 360/PS3, and decent sound would be alright. I use some Logitech X-540 speakers with the A8N-E's onboard sound on the computer and like them pretty well. And my TV is a 26" 1080i Toshiba CRT. Just to give you an idea of my standards.

These are probably the top contenders I've found so far:

I'd be inclined to go with Pioneer based on name and reputation alone. I didn't see the second one you linked to. The RCA looks kind of wimpy.
