T.I. is a busy man. Apart from his reality TV show, working on his upcoming album, running Grand Hustle, he also finds time to save lives.

He was able to talk a man down from jumping to his death recently, but he also helped Creed frontman Scott Stapp out of a dark situation. Sapp appeared on VH1's Big Morning Buzz Live (via HHDX) and spoke on what happened. He had check into Miami's Delano Hotel while on a drug binge. Stapp fell over his balcony and dropped forty feet before fracturing his skull, breaking his hip and nose. Stapp explained how Tip came into the picture: "I laid out there for two and a half hours and my guardian angel showed up — rapper T.I.," said Stapp. "He immediately took care of the situation and saved my life."

Stapp explained the the rapper and himself have a shared history, "I had met T.I. back in 2004, we were both writing songs for The Passion of The Christ: Songs Inspired By soundtrack and we had briefly interacted there and knew what each looked like," he recalled.

"We'd talked about being fans of Alabama... It's ironic — he walked in, and I found out later it was the only room left in the hotel and he came in off the street and came out, and as I'm laying on the ledge, blood fell to [T.I.'s] feet and he looked up and he had an Alabama hat on. I said, 'roll tide,' and then he looked at me and put two and two together and really saved my life."

I know some of you are like damn T.I. What the fuck is your problem? But I don't wanna live in a world without that voice. Even if it's probably terrible right now.

If you don't play air guitar any time "Higher" comes on the radio, starting off with gentle strumming and then hitting the really intense power chords at the "so let's go there" part, you don't qualify as an American IMHO.

First he holds his own acting side by side with Kelsey Grammar on Boss and now he's saving lives.

TI for Man of the Year.

Is it wrong that the first thing to make me react in the article was that I was unaware TI worked on the Passion of the Christ soundtrack?

I know you're being sarcastic, but I agree 100% regardless.

No, I really do that. Last time I heard it was when Czech made us listen to the 90s radio station (RIP) in chat and I sat there at my computer jamming so hard it hurt my wrist a little. (statement intended to elicit masturbation jokes)
