Sign I'm Getting Old: "Pussy" is really crude and gross in a way that wouldn't have bothered me 10 years ago.

I mean this is a line:

slob on my knob like it's corn on the cob

Also, Jay-Z should retire for real. "High Art" is a good song save for his guest verse. He similarly stank up JT's "Suit & Tie."

So many crappy guest appearances here. I like "Turnt" except for when 2 Chainz shows up.

EDIT: That "slob on my knob" line mentioned in the first post was also from a guest verse, though I've forgotten if it was Big Sean or Pusha T.

Oh my, "Too Early" is really, really good. More of this, please.

Delivery is part of it. Dream sings some pretty eyebrow-raising things on "New Orleans," but it doesn't bother me.

Interesting that The-Dream, in sequencing this album, relied on the old front-load-the-record-with-all-the-radio-friendly-stuff deal,* since in the post-iTunes age I wonder how much of his target market cares about full-length albums.

*I say this not because I think IV Play is any more accessible than his earlier albums, but it's definitely a bit of calculation that the album's numerous guest spots are relegated to the first half of the album. (The excellent "Slow It Down" being the exception.)

That slob on my knob line was already used by Three 6 Mafia years ago, btw.
