I figured that sooner or later there would be a thread dealing with this. Anyways, for those who have been living under a rock, here are the facts of the case so far.

-Robert Durst is the heir of a billionaire family who sounds like Donald Sterling if he were a child molester. As far as I know, he is not related to the frontman for Limp Bizkit.

-Three people in his life-his wife, a neighbor and a friend-were all brutally murdered. The neighbor was dismembered and decapitated. There was previously a trial for one of these cases.

-A movie I haven't seen called "All Good Things" was pretty much based on one of these incidents. Durst said to the director "hey, I wanna tell my side of the story", so a six part HBO documentary called "The Jinx" aired.

-Before the last episode aired, Durst was arrested.

-In the last episode, Durst is presented with new evidence. Then, in a move straight out of "The Naked Gun" Durst went into the bathroom with his microphone on. Instead of wacky hijinks, Durst was caught saying "You're caught" and "What did I do? Killed them all, of course."

And now it looks like we are getting the OJ Trial with a creepy white guy. So let's discuss this.

A lot of people from work were talking about The Jinx. Guessing this won't be as drawn out.

All Good Things has been in my Netflix streaming queue forever. Still on streaming, for those who want to watch. Interesting cast with Ryan Gosling starring but some people more known for comedy (Kristen Wiig, Nick Offerman) in supporting roles.

I was at a party yesterday. A guy at the party works at this restaurant in Downtown New Orleans and Durst was spotted there two days ago. Party dude was not at work and did not see it, but the next day someone came into the restaurant and asked him if it was true. He said, "I heard he was here, I don't know, I wasn't here." She asked his name. Turns out she was a reporter and didn't bother identifying herself as such. Quoted the dude (His name's "Allen" ) and now he's in shit at work for talking to the media. About every ten minutes he was getting a phone call, "No, NO she didn't tell me she was a reporter. Shit.." He's not fired but a memo did go out to staff to not talk to reporters.

EDIT
Google tells me this is the article: http://nypost.com/2015/03/22/robert-durst-ate-final-meal-at-emerils-restaurant-before-bust/
