Anyone have this?

General consensus online is that the service is great but the billing practices are shady and not always accurate. That doesn't seem to be universal, though.

I signed up today because I'm tired of Time Warner and the lure of Comedy Central, Spike, and other channels I don't currently get in HD as well as faster internet and better picture quality for the same price lured me in. I just hope I wasn't making a mistake. Anybody have any experience?

I have had FiOS since April and I absolutely love everything about it. There was a very noticable HD Picture Quality difference, for the better, compared to Cox for one. The internet speeds aren't even close to comparable with Cable even on the lowest upload/download speeds, and the Modem they give you is also a wireless router (you can still use wired connections if you want, like I do). I always had issues with Linksys and netgear routers in the past but this FiOS Modem/Router is so simple to use it makes a huge difference.

I Can't say I have ever had any billing issues so that may be sporadic cases at best.

Well, I got it early this morning. I love it. Already feel like it blows Time Warner away.

Looking over Verizon's HD channels list....I'm compelled to switch over when I move in February to an area that has Verizon FiOS.

They have a bunch of channels in HD that I don't currently get with Comcast. This includes Spike TV (where I can watch UFC and TNA in HD), WGN America in HD (can watch Superstars), Comedy Central HD, HD Net, and even ESPN News in HD which I don't currently get. I can still follow my sports teams because they still offer Comcast SportsNet on FiOS. I really am thinking of making the switch now. I don't really have a problem with Comcast other than not having ESPN News, Spike or HD Net.

EDIT: As long as my DVD recorder works and DVR holds more than 10 hours at a time, I'm good to switch.
