I remember JHawk's Raw recaps had a "HHHater Clock" that tracked all his airtime week to week.

HHHate was everywhere and it was completely deserved although I never took part in the memes. @JHawk WAS RIGHT!

The only things I remember about the frontpage were 1. Dames being in EWR (the sites greatest legacy aside from us). 2. Teke184's shoot interview transcripts (which I read on the board not the site lol), 3. Retrorob's interview with Fake Trish Stratus.

Which really says a lot. Old TSM: Interviews with a FAKE wrestler. CXF: Interviews with MULTIPLE real wrestlers AND exposes anti-semite Brian Kendrick. I think we all know who comes out on top here.

There was a super brief period I was talking to Dames and goodhelmet about writing for the site.

I read JHawk, Dames and bps' TNA stuff, and the shoot recaps. Other stuff here and there, as well (lack of respect for the Paradise City Ninjas around here).

The Retro Rob thing was hilarious. I think one of my first posts was in the thread about it.

Thanks for reading mine, @Valeyard. I do second the love for the underrated PCN, and that's not even the first time in the past month that their reviews have come up.
Come on man, you were there. There was a period where posts about HHH controlling things were just as prevalent as posts about Vince controlling things. Geez, it's like you never even bothered to remember who Anglesault was!
I knew it was at a fever pitch here and on other forums, but I didn't actually think it hit print media.

Too bad the FJJ movement didn't make similar (scaled down, of course) waves. That was mostly an "us" thing.

IIRC Retro Rob insisted it was the real Trish even after the "expose". I can remember thinking that was hilarious

It was the same fake Trish that Hyatte swore was real. He, of course, also fell for a fake Sunny not long after.

I read a bunch but it's been so many years I can't remember. But writing for the site seemed so glamorous at the time.

It doesn't get bigger than EWR. Definitely peak. All those signs at the Asylum.

Fake Trish chatted at least once or twice in the AIM group and it was incredibly obvious she was fake. It was fantastic stuff.

I know i talked to them once. Some board member gave me various AIM names for alleged wrestlers but none were legit. 78% sure it was Downhome.

I remember Bob constantly trolling Retro Rob about falling for the fake Trish

He did and Rob deserved it but at the same time, it was so good he fell for it. That's an essential TSM moment we'd have lost.

Was it Jay that got into it with Rob Black over him threatening to kill a Puppy? I'm trying to remember the whole story.

That was Jay Bower. I'm not able to link the thread from the old board right now but I was reading it not long ago. Bower is a fascinating figure in the board's history that isn't mentioned.

He was an arrogant prick and very conservative. His twin brother was a reviewer for 411 way back under the name Ken Anderson (brief confusion with the wrestler followed when the wrestler got a WWE deal). Bower and I emailed back and forth a few times and he was insufferable. Outside of the Rob Black stuff, his legacy is probably the feud with Scotsman from around the same time, which I found hilarious at the time but I'm sure is absolutely dire to read now.

He also used to post like gym selfies and shit but have his face crudely x'd out. It was really weird.

Not as much as I used to. Honestly the name just links back to some out-of-place article about rape when I try to pull it up.

I've come so close to starting a vintage IWC thread but was afraid it'd be crammed full of Bix tweets.

The 2003/2004 MLB playoff threads were incredible. The Red Sox love became overbearing but it was fresh back then. Bruiser Chong and Czech losing their minds over the Cubs.

I still remember Bruiser Chong snapping at me for giving a mild criticism of the movie "Elephant" by Gus Van Sant.
