If you’re Canadian and want a laugh, there’s always Letterkenny and Shoresy.
Literally two of the funniest shows I've ever seen. LDP, a friend of ours, and myself were Squirrelly Dan and two skids, respectively, for Halloween 2019. I have multiple pieces of Letterkenny merch (beer coozies and shirts) including a Shamrocks sweater.

Letterkenny takes a big dive in quality in the second half of its run, though. S7 is the worst the show ever had. 8-10 get incrementally better, and they close it out with 11 and 12 feeling like they'd fit perfectly with the first two seasons. S6 is my favorite.

Shoresy got better as it went along, with S3 being probably the best hockey-centric fiction since the original Slap Shot. It simultaneously mocks hockey players (particularly those in senior leagues) and praises them.

I know we (rightfully) hate the British around here, but Stath Lets Flats is one of my favorite sitcoms of the past decade or so. It basically co-stars Natasia Demetriou if you need a familiar face.

Graham Linehan's a garbage person, but IT Crowd is an all-time classic as well.

Sherlock needs mentioned. Amazing update to the classic lore. Episodes are an hour and a half and typically three per season, a bonus episode thrown in once.

Monk
Psych
The Lincoln Lawyer
Only Murders in the Building

If I was only allowed to keep one of my streaming services, it would definitely be BritBox. The difference in quality between British and American TV is just unreal. Especially if you compare Crime Drama. You can’t even compare most American network TV dramas to anything offered on BritBox. A show like Line of Duty would be so dumbed down if they tried to do it for network TV in the states.

I’m still trying to figure out how somebody died in a fire at a Sea Parks.

I'll throw a bone to the 2000s Battlestar Galactica & Stargate SG-1 too. I also have a soft spot towards Eureka (though the last season is very hit/miss) and Warehouse 13.

Fringe and Orphan Black are both fantastic.
