Song: "Sheena Is a Punk Rocker"
Album: End of the Century

Also, allow me to take this moment to tell Legs McNeil to piss off for slamming the Rock 'n' Roll High School movie in the liner notes to Road to Ruin. Shit's awesome.

What's you favorite Ramones song/album?

Stephen Thomas Erlewine's capsule review of Pleasant Dreams makes me wonder if he's actually heard the album:

End of the Century didn't make the Ramones into the stars they so wanted to be, so they hooked up with another '60s icon, Graham Gouldman, for its follow-up, Pleasant Dreams. Oddly, Gouldman directs the band away from their bubblegum, British Invasion, and surf fetishes toward acid rock and heavy metal. They still manage to squeak out a couple of irresistibly catchy songs, but the production is too clean to qualify as punk, and the music itself has lost sight of the infectious qualities that made their earlier records such fun. Yet those flaws seem endearing compared to the metallic meanderings of their late-'80s records.

What? This was one of their poppiest albums.

What's you favorite Ramones song/album?

"Rockaway Beach" and Rocket to Russa.

I am also really partial to "Rock n Roll High School." I once listened to that song like thirty times in a row and it never got tiring. "I Wanna Be Sedated" is another favorite.

Actually, the live Ramones album might be my favorite. Just bang, bang, bang, one song right after another at a break neck pace. Well, with the exception of Joey's little anecdote about chicken vindaloo.

I don't like this band very much but 'Judie Is a Punk' is really great and I suppose the first half of the s/t is as well. There was a certain point in time when I presumed all New York punk sounded just like 'Blank Generation', which made me think I might prefer it to the London stuff (I've since come around on a lot of it). Most of Blank Generation doesn't even sound like 'Blank Generation'.
