Rubber Soul. It's probably because the album is sentimental to me as this is the album my mom and her side of the family mostly played during family gatherings and holidays. Also the album has two of my favourite Beatles tracks, in Nowhere Man and In My Life.

The White Album (aka The Beatles) because of my fondness for big, messy albums that aren't afraid to aim high. Yeah, there's some chaff on it, but that's part of the experience, man.

I'm with Incandenza on this, for all the same reasons. I really only ever skip "Honey Pie" and the last two songs.

Abbey Road by a nose. Like, a small Paul-nose, not a big-ass Ringo honker. I have similar affection for the White Album's all-over-the-placeness, but Abbey Road is just too perfect.

I tend to skew towards earlier/middle Beatles if I'm going to throw on an album beginning to end, so I'll say a toss-up between A Hard Day's Night or Rubber Soul.

Oh yeah, I voted for Revolver because I love like 11 of the 14 songs and the ones I don't love (still don't hate any of them) take up like 6 minutes total.

Revolver is my second favorite.

Re: the last two tracks on The White Album, "Revolution 9" could have been shorter, but within the context of the album I love both it and "Good Night." Neither stand alone very well, but I'd say the same for "Wild Honey Pie" and "Why Don't We Do It in the Road?"

Revolver is my #1 favorite. Rubber Soul is a close second. '65-'66 when they were winding down touring and hunkering down in the studio is definitely my favorite era of the Beatles.

Rubber Soul. I love every song on that album, and it's kind of the bridge between early Beatlemania pop and psychedelic Beatles. It has parts of both but is grounded and concise and really f'n tight. Every song is 2-3 minutes long, as pop songs should be

Revolver is #2

1. "Taxman" Harrison 2:39
2. "Eleanor Rigby" McCartney 2:08
3. "I'm Only Sleeping" Lennon 3:02

that might be the best lead off to an A-side ever, in fairness to Revolver

Revolver for me (slightly besting Rubber Soul) though I have to admit to being partial to With the Beatles in terms of their early career work.
