Danhausen is great. He used to wrestle on the indies as Donovan Danhausen. He was a guy that just went out and wrestled. He's said in interviews, he realized that in order to get more bookings he needed to come up with a gimmick other than "wrestler on the indies" and came up with the Danhausen character. It took a very short time to catch on, but once it did, it hasn't let go since. He's a great dude and very entertaining.

Wrestling themes ripping off actual songs has been a thing forever and continues to this day (Dustin Rhodes' AEW theme is a knock off of Green Day's Brain Stew). It's probably the one trope I really enjoy and hope never ends.
