I doubt we'll see Brian Cage again in AEW for a long time if ever. I wouldn't be surprised if Tony K is just letting him do whatever while Cage runs out his contract.

Yeah, the take I had from this mess is that Brian Cage is more or less done with AEW if he went over here. There's no way there will be or is a partnership going on with these promotions. If XPW is going back to and staying primarily in California (which is the only way they will get an even decent crowd) I guess that makes sense (same with Mack being pushed hard) to have Cage be the guy, but what a clusterfuck it was getting there. Legit, that finish of the main made WCW ppv main events from the 90s and TNA main events from the 2000s look sensible and logical in comparison! Willie Mack needs to get the fuck out of this shitshow immediately.

Promotions like GCW and CZW do soooo much better at whatever this hardcore wrestling attempt was on this show, needless to say. And Rob Black looks like he's either on heroin or meth (or both?) bigtime. I didn't even barely recognize him when he did the run-in.

Seconded, really. I'm ecstatic that wrestling has become this massively inclusive artform that goes out of its way to be respectful of its fans and its workers, but something that oozes unadulterated sleaze is much needed.

Too bad Rob Black still doesn't know how to actually book or promote a wrestling show.
