btw if comey is openly saying they've been investigating trump and his people since June then I'd say there is a whole lot of smoke. You don't admit that about a sitting president unless you think you have something on them.

Trump's escalating on the wiretapping with accusing the british is really nuts as well. He's pissed them off as well as Germany with the false accusations of them owing the US/NATO millions this weekend. The list of countries Trump has alienated is getting pretty long.

Yep. People made a conscious decision to choose what information they wanted to listen to. This has been exhibited numerous times with people saying "I didn't really think he would do this even though he said that 100 times, I wanted him to do this instead." I don't feel bad for any of them.

Basically, when they heard these guys say, "I'm going to do X," they didn't want to believe that X affected them, too. Like, they wanted to believe that X was something that only affected "those people."

To play devil's advocate, Trump lied a lot too. He said nobody was going to lose health insurance. He said he wasn't going to touch Medicaid.

A lot of us recognized this as plainly transparent bullshit, but it isn't all "Trump is doing what he said he would do," exactly.

If you voted for a Reuplican thinking he was going to do the complete opposite of Republican things, you deserve whatever happens.

The media consistently painted an image of a "Republican" whose own party didn't agree with him. 95% of what he said during the campaign ended up being a complete lie (the remaining 5% being incomplete lies) so far. I think some need to accept that his voters were given a bill of false goods and not rely so much on smug, superior attitudes to help their minds cope with all this. Saying "fuck 'em all" isn't going to help anything or anyone. Fellow Americans are not my enemy, they were given a fucking 24/7 completely free advertisement crafted by the media for this fucker from June 2015 until today.

The "those people are worthless fools who had it coming" spirit is exactly what has destroyed The Left in this country. You can't morally stick up for social justice and equality, saying President Shitbag is going to lead to a culture of prejudice and discrimination and then speak of large swaths of the population like they're trash. It's inconsistent.

What % of Trump voters actually got duped versus how many were just "Hillary is satan, I'm voting for the other guy?" folks?

Whoever is still pro-Trump as in, thinks he is doing a great job? Those people are likely to vote for him again no matter what.  It's all the other ones the focus has to be on, where hopefully the next (D) candidate not being a Clinton will make the difference.

I keep wanting to believe that Trump will go down for all of this, but after watching Comey testify I'm not sure. The Republicans are going to do everything in their power to protect Trump and even try to deflect blame to someone else. Hell they were really pushing for him to say Clinton was caught up in this too.
I watched RAW. I thought it sucked. The usual problems and such.

Yes, and mocking folks who get burned by Trump isn't conducive to getting them to vote against him next time around.

They may be trying, but they are failing pretty badly. Especially since Comey wouldn't say that. Him not saying that Clinton is involved (what the fuck and how) and that he would not comment on the investigation means that the smoke is very real and someone's going to get hit.

Will it be Trump? Probably not, but the amount of incompetence is just hilarious right now.

I think the best we can hope for with the people who were "duped" is that they don't vote at all next time. Some people are just mentally unfit for the responsibility of voting. Pizzagate is but one example of this.

I saw a young girl I work with innocently ask for some information about Hillary's stance on abortion during the election. Multiple people replied to her with some of the most disgusting misinformation possible and came back with vitriol for anyone who corrected them and I just remember thinking "oh my god there are people who believe this with every fiber of their being." You just can't save these kind of morons. You can try to educate them but some people just don't want to know.

If they voted for him because they are wealthy and think he's going to save them money, then good for them. But if they voted for him because they're poor and thought he was going to wave a magic wand over the middle of America and turn it all shiny and white again because Obama ruined it, we'll see how that works out for them. But I don't expect many of them to vote Democrat either way.

Fox and Breitbart are using this as evidence that Trump was telling the truth on the wiretapping.

I'm sorry but stupid fucks stupid moronic fucks
