Well the Hunts are doing the old “well you all need to pay for this new stadium we aren’t doing it, we will move” tactic.

The Royals are trying to do that without the benefit of being good for the last two presidential terms. What is in the water in the Kansas City area?

Leave it to the Boston guy to snicker at a team only winning one world title in the last decade.

Well then... https://www.dallasnews.com/news/cri...-in-connection-with-major-accident-in-dallas/

"A vehicle believed to be registered or leased to Rice was involved in a crash in the 6600 block of North Central Expressway at about 6:20 p.m., officials told The News. The law enforcement officials said police are looking for Rice, and a police call sheet obtained by The News confirmed that law enforcement officials were searching for him in connection with the accident.

His alleged involvement in the crash is unclear. Dallas police spokeswoman Kristin Lowman said the preliminary investigation determined a driver in a Chevrolet Corvette and a driver in a Lamborghini were speeding in the far left lane, near University Boulevard, where both lost control of their vehicles.

Lowman said the Lamborghini traveled onto the shoulder and “hit the center median wall, causing a chain reaction collision involving four other vehicles.” The occupants of both the Lamborghini and the Corvette all ran from the crash without stopping to see if anyone needed medical help or providing any of their information, Lowman said."

Well the citizens didn’t buy this threat as they voted against paying for a stadium renovation.

The Packers are spending the boring part of the off season fighting with the city over Lambeau's lease. They have 9 years left but the extension meeting with the Mayor and Packers ending in a stalemate. Packers say they will cancel future expansion plans (IE JOBS and businesses to lease) if a long term deal can't be reached. The Mayor wants the Pack to spend/build more in Green Bay as the Lambeau extensions of multiple city blocks on 3 sides of Lambeau has mostly benefitted the Allouez suburb and not GB.
Then the Packers announced they want the tax payers/city to pay for a new locker room (so they can have 3 in Lambeau) because the NFL bylaws say the Packers have to have 1 locker room all year just for the Packers to use. A few years ago the tax payers gave them 100s of millions to fund the Lambeau district extensions with the promise of other sports and major concert events then being allowed at Lambeau. This has proven to be a one time every other year at best thing the Packers allow. So the 3rd locker room funding is the Packers pinky swear to bring in more entertainment.
The Packers being worth 100s of millions and asking for more has of course not caused any outrage in every comment section reporting on these stories. Everyone is calm and rational.

After calling Sandy Hook a hoax, Jets QB Aaron Rodgers also claims that Fauci and the US govt started HIV in the 80s.

A month or two ago, I thought the idea of the Jets taking a QB at #10 was far fetched but it seems a bit more reasonable now…

(Even without the moonbat beliefs, a 40 year old coming back from a ruptured Achilles seems like a risky proposition. In spite of everything that has happened in the past year and a half following the NFL, I am still glad I am not a Jets fan. )

It's not usually ok to make fun of people who've suffered brain trauma but, in Rogers's case, I think it's good.
