What I saw was his announcer contract wasn't renewed. Seems more like a costsaving move. I'm sure they'll bring him in when they feel the need for Memphis shows.

So, seeing as how they didn't actually show the women participating, what percentage of this combine do we think is gimmicked? Or do we think WWE would actually book this tournament on the fly, if the shoot results didn't go the way they'd planned?
We have been expecting this to happen and now it will as UFC and WWE will have joint shows in Louisville on June 7th and 8th, Smackdown on Friday and then UFC Fight Night the following day. Naturally they are offering package deals for both shows.
