Need more of this but from younger Dems, although I'll take what I can get. Could have used some more f-bombs

So looks like the Trump admin & conservative talking heads are taking the position that Trump inherited a disastrous economy from Biden, which, uh...

"We have to remember that if Kamala Harris had won on November 5, the stock market would be down 50 percent"

It's been 2 months and already it's so dumb and so exhausting. These 4 years are going to be 1 long "What a week, huh Jack?" / "Lemon, it's only Wednesday" joke.

I've read a lot of Democrats are pissed at Schumer over his advocating for advancing the bill.

The stopgap funding bill passed in the Senate 54-46, as two Democrats joined all but one Republican senator in voting yes. President Donald Trump must now sign it into law before the Friday midnight deadline.

The Senate minority leader, Democrat Chuck Schumer, and nine others broke with their colleagues to vote to advance the bill to its final Friday evening vote. Democratic Sens. Richard Durbin (Ill.), Catherine Cortez Masto (Nev.), John Fetterman (D-Pa.), Kirsten Gillibrand (N.Y.), Maggie Hassan (N.H.), Gary Peters (Mich.), Jeanne Shaheen (N.H.) and Brian Schatz (Hawaii) (Nev.) all voted "yes" in addition to Schumer, — as did Maine's Angus King, an Independent who caucuses with Democrats.

After voting for cloture, Shaheen and King also voted for the funding bill. That's not good. It was assured of a party line vote, even with a GOP defection, after cloture. No idea why they would go the extra step, maybe more of that New England 'tread on me harder, daddy' thing.

I hope AOC is planning to challenge Schumer's senate seat.

Yes, Krissy. And now the GOP will threaten it. Glad you're paying attention to something besides dressing like a Diablo Cody character.

Do I miss all the hot Trump chatter in chat? His last reign was kind of like this too where no one posted shit for days despite wild shit going down.

I wish I would've had time last summer/fall to get back over to Wisconsin for canvassing. The whole moving and MFA thing might've been a mistake but that's still all fluid; wishing to have done stuff in WI is a more tangible regret.

Until I fail or have to drop out over money, I'm trying to find ways to help here. Got on student government and looking into ways to increase funding and support for some of the most at-risk groups: international students, LGBTQ, women, and violence and rape prevention.

The whole thing is depressing. It is compounded by seeing so many people continue to worship it no matter what.

Lies like that should make folks wonder if Vance was ever being honest about his family's addiction struggles.

"The order cuts short a two-year “parole” program – known as CHNV – under Joe Biden that allowed 532,000 people who had arrived in the US since October 2022 with financial sponsors to obtain two-year work permits to live and work in the US. Noem’s notice said they will lose their legal status on 24 April."

"Trump said on 6 March that he would decide “very soon” whether to strip the parole status from some 240,000 Ukrainians who have fled to the US during the conflict with Russia."

The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans

This is insane! Trump admin was discussing/planning recent military strikes in Yemen on Signal (!), somehow Jeffrey Goldberg from The Atlantic gets invited in (!!), nobody notices he's there or when he leaves the chat (!!!), so he hangs around for a while and watches it all go down.

Look at the names here! And the bolded part. All over Signal!
One minute later, a person identified only as “MAR”—the secretary of state is Marco Antonio Rubio—wrote, “Mike Needham for State,” apparently designating the current counselor of the State Department as his representative. At that same moment, a Signal user identified as “JD Vance” wrote, “Andy baker for VP.” One minute after that, “TG” (presumably Tulsi Gabbard, the director of national intelligence, or someone masquerading as her) wrote, “Joe Kent for DNI.” Nine minutes later, “Scott B”—apparently Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, or someone spoofing his identity, wrote, “Dan Katz for Treasury.” At 4:53 p.m., a user called “Pete Hegseth” wrote, “Dan Caldwell for DoD.” And at 6:34 p.m., “Brian” wrote “Brian McCormack for NSC.” One more person responded: “John Ratcliffe” wrote at 5:24 p.m. with the name of a CIA official to be included in the group. I am not publishing that name, because that person is an active intelligence officer.

If this was a serious administration (if this was a serious admin none of these clowns would've ever been nominated for their roles, but whatev) the President should be demanding the resignations of everyone involved. And if not, if we had a serious Congress, the House would be drawing up impeachments for everyone. But alas. Looking forward to the "Hillary's Emails" crowd trying to logic this away.

If you give White House faith adviser Paula White $1,000 before Easter, she promises that you will receive "seven supernatural blessings.": "God will assign an angel to you ... He'll give you prosperity. He'll take sickness away from you. He will give you long life."

Republicans and their media are totally cool with the Trump admin planning war by text and looping in a reporter on the thread.

Yeah, at first it sounded like they were going to make Mike Waltz the designated scapegoat, but now it appears nobody is even getting so much as a slap on the wrist.
