I am dead fucking serious in thinking that we are facing the complete fall of our nation. I'm trying to remain hopeful that Dems have a plan, that the general public will come out against the decisions being made and force the hands, that the ACLU will file enough injunctions and suits to keep the worst of it all at bay until the 2028 cycle, but more and more I'm believing in the worst.

I'm believing the worst, more and more, as well. But not because I still think that these are hapless idiots falling ass backwards into power. They won the election. Electorally, they won twice. There are a lot of people in this country who are 'cool with it' and, of course, much worse. I think it will be better to call them out, call them what they are (nazis), and stuff like that than to think the problems arising daily are because they're Keystone Cop type stumblebums.
