DOJ orders charges against NYC mayor Eric Adams to be dropped, "without assessing the strength of the evidence or the legal theories on which the case is based". Also, "there shall be no further targeting of Mayor Adams or additional investigative steps prior to (Nov 2025 mayoral election)", so I guess he's just free to commit crimes and/or be corrupt for the next 9 months?

Really need to read the letter to see how insane this is.

A federal judge on Tuesday ordered government agencies to restore public access to health-related webpages and datasets that they removed to comply with a Trump executive order.

"U.S. District Judge John Bates in Washington agreed to issue a temporary restraining order requested by the Doctors for America advocacy group. The judge instructed the government to restore access to several webpages and datasets that the group identified as missing from websites and to identify others that also were taken down “without adequate notice or reasoned explanation.

The scrubbed material includes reports on HIV prevention, a CDC webpage for providing clinicians with guidance on reproductive health care and an FDA study on “sex differences in the clinical evaluation of medical products.”

Removing important information from the CDC and FDA websites is delaying patient care, hampering research and hindering doctors’ ability to communicate with patients, the plaintiffs’ attorneys argued in a court filing.”

Getting concerned RFK Jr's gonna get confirmed. Polio survivor Mitch McConnell (you would think) isn't going to vote for him, next in the unlikely column would be Murkowski & Susan Collins, but that still leaves you 1 short even if you get those 3.
