Reported by Adam Schefter that Jerod Mayo is fired as the New England Patriots HC after winning his Week 18 game and dropping from the #1 pick to around the #4 pick so starting this thread early. Coaches like Brian Daboll, Antonio Pierce, and Doug Pederson are all reportedly on the hot seat too.

Chicago Bears:
Cincinnati Bengals: OL - , DC - , DL - , LB -
Cleveland Browns: OC -
Indianapolis Colts: DC -
Jacksonville Jaguars:
Las Vegas Raiders:
New England Patriots:
New Orleans Saints:
New York Jets:
San Francisco 49ers: ST -
Seattle Seahawks: OC -
Tennessee Titans: GM -

Jacksonville sent Pederson away but inexplicably GM Trent Baalke will remain but Jags owner Shad Khan says the new coach will directly report to him.

Giants will keep Daboll as everyone expected except apparently @HarleyQuinn.

Bengals have dismissed DC Lou Anarumo. He was a great DC and crucial to the Super Bowl run but this season, the defense was such a disaster and despite some improvement in the final weeks, a change absolutely had to be made.

They’ve also fired a large amount of their staff as well and most importantly, Frank Pollack who has served as OL coach for the duration of Burrow’s career and we all have seen how that OL has served him.

Taylor was always safe as long as Burrow endorsed him but seeing a sweeping dismissal of their staff is a welcome sign that Burrow’s challenge to the front office is being heard and addressed.

Seattle has dismissed OC Ryan Grubb and Cleveland fired OC Ken Dorsey yesterday, marking the second time he’s been fired from that job position in two seasons.

Yeah, just saw this: Per multiple reports, the team has parted ways with defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo. Also, Paul Dehner Jr. adds that offensive line coach Frank Pollack, linebackers coach James Bettcher and defensive line coach Marion Hobby have also been let go.

I remember Bettcher had been around as part of the Arizona Cardinals staff for a bit.

Colts fired DC Gus Bradley who absolutely should never work again in any football capacity

So two things about that.

Obviously I was wrong about what it takes for someone to be a head coach. As such I'm not really gonna say 'I don't want this or that person'. What I will say is that I want an X's and O's guy. We didn't do that last year, we swung really far in the opposite direction for no benefit. I don't want some guy to come in with no experience calling a scheme. No special teams coaches or guys who sit as a non-play calling offensive coordinator or any of that shit. I also don't want a coach to come in and decide we have staff members who should keep their jobs. That's what happened this last time. I would like some ruthlessness, bring your own guys in.

Secondly, we trailed by at least 10 points in 15 games. You can't say they didn't give him a chance. Once you get to week 11-18 and you're consistently coaching a team that's behind by that much, you haven't learned anything as the season went on and you're asking for trouble. The last two wins he had were against dead men walking coaches and backup QB's. Those two wins really crippled the prospects of our team, and if you ask me they probably should have fired Pierce before that and turned the job over to Norv Turner for a few weeks. To me this was the worst Raiders team that I ever saw, and then we won two games at the end of the season for no goddamn reason.

An X's and O's guy who has experience cobbling together a roster full of unwanted parts is kinda exactly what we need given the shape the team has been left in. He can put in 4 or 5 years and get us to the playoffs at the end of that and jog off into the sunset. Pete never got Seattle to the playoffs by tanking out and picking from the most wanted list.

Good news for gum salesmen in Vegas.

Titans fired GM Ran Carthon.

Ran got a bad deal. But it seems like Amy Adams is getting into the 1990’s Bidwell-Mike Brown level of terrible owners so he may be better off getting the hell away.
