There's new downloadable content that includes a scenario with the Mongols and allows them to be played in the normal game. Huzzah!

I had totally missed this news, and was happily surprised when I found I could select Genghis Khan yesterday. This addresses one of my big complaints from a few weeks ago. Mongols should have been in the game from the start (I mean, they had the biggest empire of all time, it was dumb to leave them out). At least this rectifies that.
