HQ acquires WR Michael Pittman Jr while @909 acquires RB Travis Etienne Jr.

I get a more proven depth WR to throw into my lineup and there's been a lot of rumors that Etienne may be on the move/will be a part of a committee with Tank Bigsby. I also think the Jags won't run the ball as much now that they have Travis Hunter at WR.

Gotta love going into Week 6 and it feels like its basically a must-win matchup because 3-3 is a hell of a lot better than 2-4.

This year my team has been more WWF Vader rather than WCW Vader.

After getting turfed in Week 12 and staring down two games with playoff teams in the last 3 weeks or the season, I thought my team was cooked. 3 weeks later, I win three straight games, and my team is in the playoffs. This has been a maddening year filled with inconsistency, injuries, and a few of my wide receivers getting saddled with bad quarterbacks, so I'm happy just to have made it. It looks like I'm staring down MFer's juggernaut team next week. I don't like my chances, but strange things happen in the playoffs.
 
Gotta love scoring the most total team points for the season, but also having the most total points in the league scored against you. Finish 8-7.

I guess I'll just take my 6th highest total points of all time to the Children's Table in the Consolation Bracket.

CXF DYNASTY NFL 2026 NOTES:

First off, we have one team available for anyone that is interested and wants to be an active league member. I'm not going to sweat over finding a replacement manager before the draft. If we do great, if not that team will follow the new auto-draft procedure and I'll find someone before the season starts.

Auto-draft procedure? What's that? For those not in the baseball league it's a new draft feature we started this year. It helps a team not completely lose the value of their draft pick if the manager becomes unavailable.

H. TIME LIMIT AUTO-DRAFT RULES:
If you have hit your 24 hour time limit for your draft pick, and an additional 24 hours have passed without you drafting a player, your draft pick will be auto-drafted to your roster based on the highest available rookie in the NFL Rookie List that is located in the Dynasty League Spreadsheet. The rookie list is listed in order of how rookies were selected in the actual NFL Draft. The only exemption to the highest available auto-draft rookie selection rule is if that player would be a NFL rookie QB that was not a first or second round selection in the actual NFL draft. Essentially QBs drafted in rounds 3 through 7 are not auto-draft eligible since the hit rate for success is so low. If your previous pick was auto-drafted, and you miss the time limit on your next pick, a player will be auto-drafted for you as soon as you hit your draft pick time limit, no additional 24 hours will be given. If you are habitually not drafting within your time limit, your time limit is subject to be taken down to zero hr per pick and your team filled by auto-draft methods.

Dynasty NFL League Rules:

**Last Updated: April 21, 2026**

A. Each roster has a maximum size of 28 players that expands to 31 for the 3 IR spots.

B. A team must cut enough players to accomodate their rookie draft picks on to their active roster prior to the rookie draft.

C. All TENTATIVE ROSTER CUTS must be turned in by 8:00 am EST on April 30th, 2026.

D. If TENTATIVE ROSTER CUTS are not submitted by the deadline date, the commish will select players to list as tentative roster cuts to clear roster space on the team for the rookie draft.

E. Starting in round 4 of the rookie draft until 24 hours after the final rookie draft pick, pick 4.12, teams may FINALIZE their roster cuts. If making changes to your roster cuts, you must post the changes in the Dynasty Football League thread or contact the commish. The commish will manually make these changes on yahoo for your team. The purpose of these changes or adjustments is to accomodate roster numbers size changes for draft pick trades or let teams re-add a tentatively cut veteran that they may prefer over a newly drafted rookie. 24 hours after the 4.12 draft pick, all TENTATIVE CUTS become FINALIZED and those players will be added to the waiver pool of free agent players and are no longer under your team's control.

F. LEAGUE YEAR: The new league year begins the day after the FINAL ROSTER CUT deadline date, 24 hours after the 4.12 draft pick in the rookie draft. Once a new league year begins, any players listed as roster cuts on a roster become free agents and are no longer considered a part of your roster.

G. LEAGUE SETTINGS:

ROSTERS:
2 QB, 3 RB, 4 WR, 2 TE, 1 RB/WR/TE Flex, 1 DEF, 15 Bench, 3 IR (28 active roster spots, 31 total.

SCORING:
1/15 Passing. -2 for INT and Fumbles.
1/5 Rushing and Receiving.
1/12 Return Yards.
2 Points Per Reception.
TDs = 6 Points.
Bonus: 5 Points for 300 Yards QB, 100 Yards RB/WR/TE
Defense: Scoring = 15, 10, 8, 5, 3, 0, and -5. Yardage = 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, -2, and -5. Sacks, INTs, FR all = 4. Safety/Block K = 10. 3 & Outs = 0.5.

H. DRAFT:
4 rd Rookie Draft
Draft Date: May 1st
24 hours per pick Round 1 through 3
12 hours per pick for the final Round 4.

Only Rookies are eligible to be drafted in the rookie draft. If a non-rookie is selected, that draft pick will be invalid and will be skipped by other managers until a valid rookie pick is made.

The draft is non-snaking, worst regular season record to best for slotting, league champion picks last every round. Consolation Winner will have its round one draft pick reslotted to the 1.01 first overal draft pick in round one.

Drafting process. The draft will be 24 hour time limits per pick in rounds one, two, three, and 12 hours per pick in round four. When it's your turn to draft, you will post your draft pick in the Dynasty football league thread and ADD YOUR DRAFT PICK TO YOUR TEAM ROSTER ON YAHOO. Add the draft pick player just like you would any other free agent during the season. The yahoo transaction add time stamp will be the official clock we go by for the time limits.

J. After the draft and the final roster cut deadline, the free agent pool will go on waivers. The waivers are slotted worst end of regular season record to best, league champion at the end. The waiver priority number will not be reset like other leagues, the next priority change will occur after Week 1 when it is based off of current regular season standings.

K. Draft picks can be traded at any point during the season, off-season, and during the draft. Trades must be posted in this league thread on the forum and both teams confirming it. If you make a trade involving draft picks and after the season one of the teams involved leaves, the traded picks are still in effect. A trade involving draft picks during the draft may result in a corresponding roster cut needed at the time of the trade to accomodate the trade on yahoo.

L. During the draft, a manager has 24 hours to complete a draft pick in rounds one, two, three and 12 hours in round four. The time starts immediately following the previous selection. The added player transaction time on yahoo is the official time stamp we will go by for draft pick time limits.

If a manager picks out of order in the draft, the player they selected will not be deemed a valid pick until it is their actual turn to draft. The invalid draft pick selection will be dropped off their roster by the commish. If the invalid drafted player is still available when it is actually that managers turn, he will be re-added to that team's roster by the commish. This player is fair game to be drafted by other teams until it is an actual valid selection.

M. New managers inherit all facets of their team when taking over a team, players, draft pick slot, draft pick trades.

N. These rules are subject to review and revision after the season is over and prior to the start of drafting at the discretion of the league and the commissioner.

Google spreadsheet? What's that? Again for those not in the baseball league it's a new league tool we added this year. It's currently a work in progress for this league but usable. It has the Draft Grid, League Rules, Records, NFL Rookie Player List, and Individual Team Pages. I will keep adding data as we go along.

The link is below, I would suggest using either a PC or requesting viewer access with a gmail account for the spreadsheet and using the Google Sheets Mobile App. If you are just accessing the open link by a mobile device expect it to look like shit because it will not be formated properly. PC or Google Sheets Mobile App is the way to go, along with dark mode if you have that available. It also looks good in google chrome mobile browser. I will be sending viewer access emails out to everyone in the next two days if I have a working google email for you.

Draft begins May 1st, Rounds One, Two, Three will have 24 hour time limits, Round Four will have a 12 hour time limit.

Post your draft pick in this thread AND add your draft pick to your team roster on yahoo. The time stamp for time limits we will use is the yahoo player added transaction time.

In the event that a manager either only makes their draft pick post in the league thread OR only makes their yahoo draft pick player add, the next manager up can make their own draft pick selection. There is no reason to wait for both things to be done. The commish will manually add their player on yahoo as soon as I see it.

ROSTER CUTS:
TENTATIVE roster cuts need to be in by 8 am April 30th. This is so the rookie draft selections can be added to your roster during the draft. FINALIZED roster cuts need to be posted either with your 4th round draft pick or no later than 24 hours after the 4.12 draft pick is made. If no finalized roster cuts are made, it is assumed that your tentative roster cuts are the same as your final roster cuts.

Either post in the league thread or message your tentative roster cuts to the commish.

We're doing it this way because roster numbers can change during the draft with trades and hopefully this could create some trade interest amongst teams seeing others tentative roster cuts. The TENTATIVE roster cuts are still considered part of your roster until they are FINALIZED 24 hours after the 4.12 draft pick. After that time they are viewed as free agents and no longer part of your roster.
