Just started it. Died 3 times before finally deciding to save early. The last time I died came from someone I was escorting pushing me to the ground.

Can't take much damage before biting it. I was hoping to be able to devote tomorrow to it, but not likely the case. Hopefully I can get a couple hours in and try to get the hang of things.

Waltzed right into the psychopath in the bathroom at level 7. Got wiped.

Still fun, but damn does it suck not being able to do anything but jump kick at this stage of the game.

I just killed that son of a bitch. The trick is to run when he's charging and the second he missed take two shots at him.

Would've been nice if I had known Case 2-2's ending was a "Fail this unexpected scene and you fail all the missions, oh and you don't have the Underground Key so good luck getting topside in time to give Katey any Zombrex!" situation. A couple hours of work undone.

Wow, oldskool is right. I love this franchise, but this game better be revamped top-to-bottom if I'm paying full price.

I'm mad at myself. I stopped playing the game around Christmas for no good reason. I feel like I'd have to start over to really be able to get back into it.

I restarted the game. I hadn't played it in 10 months, but wanted to see the story through. I knew the controls and map would be forgotten. Thankfully they let you take your saved leveling and use it to restart. Started at level 16, now at about 26.

Pretty much where I left off last time. Mission 3-2, which is still kinda early. But advancing better this time around. I walked into back to back psycho fights (The chef and the groom) on accident, but didn't have too much trouble. Still enjoying the game. Just wish there was more time to explore. The time limit really hurts the fun.

I started a separate "fuck around" save where I'm completely ignoring the story and just running around hacking up zombies.

Just got "Off the Record." Shit just got so real it's in 3D.

There's a sandbox mode available right off the bat, which is a welcome addition.

Finally finished DR2 the other day. While I enjoyed it, I don't feel the need to restart the story again. Near the end I just stopped killing zombies so I could run and finish things up quicker. And the ending blew balls. It was like a 1 minute cut scene (got the s-ending)

Would have been nice to explore the game more. But if you're going to fight bosses and pick up survivors there just isn't any time. I know I missed Ted and Snowflake, and well as the magician boss battles.

I'd play part 3 when/if it comes out. But I need a break from the series.
