Just lean into the implication of Rock wanting to fuck Cody to obtain his essence.

I'm sure Sami and KO will kill themselves but I just can't get into seeing them feud for the billionth time. They're really overdone it.

Men's Elim Chamber will probably be good but Logan Paul and Cena are anti-draws for me. The Tiffy-Trish pairing is cute from what I've seen.

If they don't call an audible and run Punk/Cena or Punk/Owens at Wrestlemania it hurts everyone. Everything is so tepid.

I'm only watching this because of the building its in.

I hope Pat McAfee gets the shit beat out of him before he leaves town.

Do they just give the Rock video packages to talk about how great he is?

The whole thing was so clearly staged for MAGA reasons I find it funny tbh. This is just WWE showing who they are. Pat is scum though.

Yes that's what they do for the Rock.

The turning the literal lights off for the unsanctioned match is heavy handed even by WWE standards and really hurts the presentation.

Yeah, you're probably right. No reason to sing the anthems before the show and they knew that was going to happen.

I feel like they told McAfee to shut up about it, at least.

I look forward to the clip of HHH at the press conference wanting them to keep politics out of it a few weeks after he was at his mother-in-law's confirmation hearing.

Wasn't into the show until the big angle at the end. Seeing Cena finally go heel is actually interesting so they won me over I admit it. If this is what happens when Rock comes in and "messes up" the plans every year then make him the booker year round.

Holy shit they actually turned Cena. Yes Rock needs to keep interfering and changing creative even if his talking segments usually suck nowadays.

I didn’t think it was possible to recreate the energy of Hulk Hogan joining the Outsiders to form the NWO, but that was it.

The signs were there for weeks, but I can’t believe they actually pulled the trigger. Incredible piece of business.

So i have not seen it in full proper context but based on the clips, I can't help but feel they could've shot it better. I'm fucking stoked but man, the weakest part of the Hogan turn was Heenan's call and it was shot like they used that as stage direction.

Cody should've gigged. That's the only complaint I have about that turn.

Holy fuck, that was awesome. That's 20 years of pent up frustration with WWE booking being unloaded in 3 minutes.

I think he bled hardway from the belt shots. You could hear the belt smacking his face, and even though he didn have a full crimson mask, he was pretty clearly lumped up in a way you never see.

The clip I watched ended right after the belt shot, so if he got juice hard way then damn.

I want to like Cody because he does give his all, but I have a hard time rooting for anyone that reminds me of the "what do I do with my hands" bit from Talladega Nights.

I saw someone on Twitter say this turn feels more like Andre’s turn than it does Hogan’s and I think I agree with that. As long as it’s better than Tatanka’s

The internet seems to disagree. But I kinda can’t feel like this turn is that big of a deal. He’s already confirmed to be on the way out, and in all likelihood he’ll be good again by Survivor Series so he can go out a hero. I also don’t know enough about Travis Scott to know if he adds anything or not. Except for aggressively sipping his drink.

Show was mainly just background for me. The unsanctioned match felt like it went on for a lifetime. I skipped the tag match, and I’ll never like Cole, and Mcafee. Crowd seemed way into the Naomi getting destroyed in the beginning.

It all depends on the follow up. People comparing it to Hogan's turn need to remember that Hogan had been away doing movie stuff before the turn. But, after it he was there for probably 95% of Nitros.

The only way this makes a big impact is if Cena now appears on tons of WWE shows (and you need Rock to appear regularly as well). If it's "cena will appear in 4 weeks" and after that he appears at Mania and after that he appears in 6 weeks it means shit.
