My modest audience for social media and a major driver of our podcast disappearing will be tough. Not that we can’t start over elsewhere or shift our posting toward our other social media sites, it’s that the major portion of our audience will need to land at the same spot.

Coaches and sportswriters prefer Twitter because that is where the recruits are. Sports fans thus flock to Twitter because the coaches and players are there. We built our audience there and found that many listeners and watchers did not subscribe to our shows but would just click the social media links when they posted.

Sad that this douche is going to cause the “breaking news to the minute” social media site to go away. ‘Twas a good place for stuff such as that.
