I used to eat at Burger King like twice a month a few years back (what a surprise given my recent obesity problems!) but I haven't been there in a good six months. And the last time I went there was six months ago and only because I was drunk/stoned. And they messed up my order and gave me the wrong change.

Anyway, what made me stop going was they had this really angry manager who kind of looked like Mark Mangino who was really mean to his employees. Just not pleasant to be around. Even though they probably let him go years ago, I haven't been back much since. Maybe it was the Mark Mangino. I don't know what the point of that tangent was.

Hey, has anybody seen the BK ad with Mary J. Blige singing enthusiastically about chicken that they pulled off YouTube? Good times.

I like the concept of Croissandwiches but I end up prefering the McMuffin. I also can't stand cheese on breakfast sandwiches, but I love cheese.

I still don't know why they can't just fry up a sausage patty at any time of the day.

The only thing I really like at BK is their original chicken (or the angry version, although it's easily the messiest fast food sandwich around) and their onion rings. The onion rings alone make me keep going back there - if Wendy's or McDonald's sold onion rings, I'd never go back to BK.

Burger King sucks dick. If I ate fast food, it would be the last place I would go too.

It's just fallen behind in quality. I can't think of anything they really do well anymore. Even the Whooper just kind of sucks now.

I just had Wendy's new fries for the first time since I was out running errands near the mall and it was the most convenient fast food place on the way home. It's funny...they're not really new anymore. I think they've been out for a year or two. Just goes to show how long it's been since I stopped at Wendy's. Like the old Wendy's, they were just "eh". I like the idea of a more "natural" fast food but it really just sort of tasted like everybody else's.

And Five Guys has forever ruined basic fast food burgers for me. I wasn't expecting much (especially since I ordered off the dollar menu) but I just tasted condiments. Should have got one of the chicken wraps instead.

BK has at the very least really improved their dessert options over the last year. The ice cream sundaes were good enough but now that they allow me to enjoy nature's most precious treat, the Cinnabon, outside of the confines of a shopping mall, that's enough for them to overtake Wendy's in my fast food rankings. (Disclaimer: I don't actually have fast food rankings) Their main items, burgers and fries and stuff, have always lagged behind McDonald's and Wendy's, but I do want to try that racist new chicken wrap.
