If we can include it, ill say the simpsons.

If not, then Boy Meets World is definatly up there. The wonder years was delightful as was Different Strokes.

Never been a huge fan. Too many bad ones rehashing the same crap. Probably Roseanne, Sandford and Son, and Family Ties. Two Guys, A Girl, and a Pizza Place was great for a little while.

Boy Meets World?

Roseanne is great, but that show sure fell off a cliff

My top three have always been Seinfeld (cliche I know), Newsradio and Norm. If Season 5 never happened, then Newsradio would probably be #1.

Definatly going to have to go with I'm Alan Partridge.

But hounarble mentions have to go to Red Dwarf, Spaced, Black Books, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace (it's sort of a sitcom) and Peep Show.

Simpsons, Seinfeld, Roseanne, The Office, and Cheers are all up there, too.

I don't know what counts as a sitcom and what doesn't, but Boy Meets World is my favorite show of all time. The Office and Arrested Development are right behind.

Arrested Development is a sitcom. It's a comedy built on situations, hence the term situation comedy

I'm officially going to declare this thread an IRONY-FREE ZONE. You have 24 hours to edit your posts if you were not serious about Mama's Family; Boy Meets World; and Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place being among the best comedies ever made. Go forth.

Coupling (U.K.) and It's Always Sunny make me laugh better than anything currently on tv

South Park is, bar none, my favorite show of all time. It's offensive, it's modern, and the fact that the very first episode had aliens, an erupting volcano, and a monster that made wicker baskets and had Patrick Duffy for a leg set the tone for the entire series. After that? Everything on That 70's Show up to Eric leaving to teach kids in Africa, and then the show became all about Fez and Kelso. They were good supporting characters, but that was it: supporting characters. Hyde, Red, Kitty, Donna, and Eric were the heart and soul of that show, and when Eric and Donna pretty much bailed to go do movies, the show was never the same.

I'll always have a soft-spot for Boy Meets World. I watched it from episode one right up until Corey and Topanga got married. Titus was brilliant, too. It's just a shame that his stand-up is the same exact thing as the show, and nothing more. The Drew Carey Show was a favorite right up until Drew was committed to an asylum after Mimi pulled another massive prank on him (I'm almost positive it was after she sent him to China). Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother are modern faves.

I must've missed that prepubescent rite of passage that was watching Boy Meets World and Saved By The Bell. What kind of fag likes that shit?

Fun fact: Drew going to China lost him his A&W Canada spokesman job (he ate at a McDonald's or something).

I had no idea there were this many unironic Boy Meets World fans. Yeah, it was a fun 90s show and Minkus showing up for graduation to say he hangs out off camera with Mr. Turner was pretty great, but calling it an all time great would be like calling Saved By The Bell well written and funny without being ironic. I have terrible taste in things though so, whatever.

I always knew he's bash his love interest's head in with a shovel in a movie one day.
