Also Arrested Development, Curb, The Simpsons, and Sunny. Police Squad if it had lasted more than six episodes.

Boy Meets World is terrible. It's not even funny to watch now in an ironic, cheesy way like Saved By The Bell. BUTT was right, it took itself WAY too seriously and every episode had some stupid life changing bullshit that some character was going through.

Arrested Development, The Office, Seinfeld (at least the later seasons, the first few seasons are hit or miss with me), and The Simpsons are high on my list. All In The Family and Cheers are some classics that I haven't seen much of that I'll consistently laugh at. I've probably seen almost every Happy Days episode, but 75% of those are pretty bad.

I've been watching a lot of King of Queens re-runs lately. This phase will pass, but it's really not a half-bad show and it's a good 'nothing else to watch' thing in the afternoon.

Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place

YES.

My shortlist would include Arrested Development, It's always sunny in Philadelphia, Curb Your Enthusiasm, South Park and the aforementioned 2 guys and a Girl. I've also become quite fond of Big Bang Theory.

But the winner is the British version of the Office.

Oh...and the Larry Sanders show.

Coupling (UK) ..and like, all but the last season. The new guy they ported in was "meh" at best and I could've done without the entire season being pretty much devoted to the soon to be newborn.

BMW, up until college.

SBTB, including college. Just a show I always had a soft spot for.

Seinfeld. I thought I was a notch above others in my middle school for watching it and getting the jokes.

Red Dwarf.

Chef! (I think it was a sitcom..wish it would've continued on past his reconciling with his wife at the end..)

I Love Lucy is the greatest sitcom in history.

I knew I left a show out.

Amazing show, it blows my mind that only two people (Bob Caroll Jr. and Madelyn Pugh) wrote every episode for the first four seasons.

I don't think of animated shows as sitcoms so that leaves off Simpsons/SouthPark/etc for me.

All in the family. It lost a lot after Mike/Gloria left but it was amazing and groundbreaking.

Cheers. Just a really funny show.

Arrested Development, Newsradio, Fresh Prince

Probably Seinfeld. Peak-era Simpsons is funnier, but there's just too many shitty episodes of that show for me to consider it the best anything anymore.

For childhood nostalgia I'll go with Night Court. Sure it was the same episode every single time, but I loved it.

The one show if I find it channel surfing and it's on that I'll sure fire stop and watch what's left? Newsradio.

I had a soft spot for Yes, Dear as well, not a real popular one, but consistently funny and usually the end credit quick gag was money.

I forgot to list Seinfeld because watching it today is such a reflex that I take it for granted.

Seinfeld is the be all end all of Sitcoms

After that, I will always have a soft spot for the originals, I Love Lucy and The Honeymooners. The Simpsons, Married With Children, All in the Family, Sanford and Son, Taxi, and Newhart were always some of my favorites as well.

In my experience the show seemed to be a big hit with the female demographic. This isn't very surprising, but obviously to be a top rated show you'd think it would be hitting both gender demographics well. I'm not even sure what point I'm trying to make here, honestly, but I guess that while it may have been a hit with both genders, it was a passing interest for males while an obsession for females. That sort of core sampling doesn't bode well for high praise here.

Seinfeld, probably followed by Arrested Development. The latter is probably funnier, but with only about 2.5 seasons, it's hard to compare it to Seinfeld.

I liked Friends a lot, but like a lot of shows, the later seasons don't compare to some of the earlier ones. The biggest difference is Ross. About mid-way through the show's run, he suddenly turns into a complete idiot. Meanwhile, the Phoebe character as a whole is terrible throughout.

Is The Wonder Years considered a sitcom? Or is it more a dramedy? I'm guessing dramedy, but I want to add it to my list regardless.

Daniel Stern is actually the answer to the "What voice to you read posts in" question. Had I answered it, anyway.

M*A*S*H is number 1 for me. I don't care that there was some drama in it, it is easily my all-time favorite show ever made.

MARRIED WITH CHILDREN is another one that I love. Yes, there were some not so great episodes, but it did for the 80's and 90's what ALL IN THE FAMILY did in it's era. Both shows pushed the envelope with the material they did.

I don't know if it counts, but I never missed an episode of MR. BEAN. Rowan is the man! British comedy is such a great thing.

I grew up with SAVED BY THE BELL so I have a soft spot for that one, and ROSANNE as well.

SEINFELD I like, but I find it a little overrated. I'm not going to say hugely overrated, but it was a good show. I can understand how people love it so much as there were some great episodes, but I personally don't find it the greatest thing ever.
