Yea. Always talking about striking with the fist of justice or something. Lon'qu and Olivia's son is quite the cocky ladies man too.

Yeah Owain is nutty. CAN'T CONTROL.

As far as I know most or all of the children are tied to a specific parent, so for example Lissa is always going to produce Owain regardless of the father. The only thing that bugged me having played through the game twice is it seems that the child's interactions with its non determinate parent (which I think is always the father except for Crom and male tactician) are the same regardless of who they are, so they're not personalized to that character at all.

Ah, Owain. He's special. With a capital L.

All of the children are tied to the same mother. So Lissa will always produce Owain, regardless of the father. The only exceptions are Robin and Chrom. This is because Chrom must always have Lucina as a child, Robin will always have Morgan as a child; therefore allowing only those two to produce siblings.

Chrom allows the Lord class to be handed down, which makes Cynthia(Sumia), Kjelle(Sully), Brady(Maribelle), Inigo(Olivia), or male Morgan(Robin) have awesomeness through Aether and Rightful King skills.

Robin passes down the ability for the sibling of male Morgan to wield any class. Having the ability to change a character to any class is awesome. The only times Morgan will start in the base class of tactician are either marrying Olivia, Lucina, or Chrom though. All other times, s/he will start as the opposite spouse's base class.

The only thing the father does for any other character is hand down the stats, which absolutely sucks and makes me upset considering Robin has a different set of quotes in the CBAs than Mark does. I began trying to figure out proper pairings because there is only one line and because I'm strangely obsessive with doing this with all my Fire Emblems. Stupid, I know. But I do it anyways.

Can the children develop relationships with anyone other than parents and siblings?

Yeah, I remember getting Owain and Lucina up to an A. You can see who people can have relationships with if you go into the support menu and select a character. It'll show everyone they can have support relationships with.

You can hook up the kids too. I'd assume Owain and Lucina though can't become lovers, simply because we're all squeamish on such a thing, yet royalty in those times would do those things.

Oh, you can have Robin hook up with any of the second generation and then have Morgan be the third generation. Even better is that while any second generation is the same age as Robin, Morgan comes from a successful timeline. Meaning that, yes, this relationship will occur in the current timeline eventually. ...and yet, I do so want to pair Robin and Lucina...

??? For some reason on my second run, this game seems harder. I don't think I've messed with the difficulty, and I'm getting some good level RNGs on everyone that isn't Miriel (Gods, she just has sucked on them), but it really does feel harder for some reason.

Had like 15 deaths (Miriel accounts for a lot) so far. If I hadn't put it on casual play due to the travel aspect of save anywhere, I'd only have like 3 characters left.

Its weird. Does weapon skill matter that much? I didn't think it did... Just what weapons you could use.

Kind of feel dumb. Didnt realize I could Second Seal my maxed characters, after i had already used and maxed them under the Master Seal, and start building them all over again until today. Donnel is pushing a 300 rating now.

Don't worry Nym. Happened to me too. Though, since I fucked up and had to restart it, I made sure to get access to whatever Panne's kid's stage is and have Second Seals immediately for my group the moment I could.

Though, I'm nowhere near 300 yet.

Didn't feel like bumping the thread for it, but trying to get every relationship in Fire Emblem Awakenings to A is a damn chore. :(

It can be, especially trying to keep track of who can and can't build relationships. I'm at the end of the game, but haven't really played in a while.

Oh, I just get a new character and immediately work from the bottom of the list to the top for them. Its a freaking bore, but at least I know who is who.

Glad I haven't screwed up an S yet. Thank ye lord.

??? Seriously, someone took my and Nyx's posts out of Random and placed them in here? Really?

Okay. Let's make this topic relevant. Since there's now two different timelines, I'd wager if we get a sequel to Awakenings, it'll likely have us as either Robin (default Avatar name) or as a new Tactician, sliding between the two timelines trying to fix the world(s).

That feels like the best way to make a sequel.

Well, yeah. I did.. and not to be a prick, but because it makes sense. :p I just don't see why you wouldn't use the already established thread for the series, especially when the previous post was only in April.* ???

*though post date shouldn't even matter if it's series specific dialogue

No, I was just surprised simply because the discussion probably would've ended with the two posts. Though I kind of forgot this is for the entire series, so that's actually my bad.
