Playing a network game with Wario, he's Spurs and I'm Arsenal. Anyway I just got crushed by West Ham. Fuckin this is my reaction the whole game.

Im guessing you guys are in close proximity of each other? Now that football manager live is dead (or close to ending) maybe they'll finally have an 'online' / over the net capability. Its what ive always wanted from the game.

Nah, we just used this program called Hamachi to create a network to play on. It's kinda slow though.

As in the networks slow or the fact that you need to wait for him to press continue & vice versa? I could see it as fun if you had a few peeps but also take half a year to do a season

Network is slow, especially during the transfer window. Like three times worse than it usually is during the window.

Hmmm, i can see how thats annoying. How many leagues are you guys running? Still, its pretty sweet to get a game going. Im guessing you both need to be on at the same time?

Yeah, we both have to be on at the same time. Like I think 8 leagues in a few different countries, not sure. It limits our options, so hopefully we just don't get fired.

Actually, I can load the game up. I just can't continue because I didn't turn force continue on. Anyway, I'm top of the table and 909's in I think 5th after four games or so, but I just had a giant motherfucking rash of injuries so we'll see how long that lasts. My minimum goal is to finish ahead of him and in Europe.

I got it for my birthday during the summer sale and have played THE SHIT out of it. First with Manchester City just cos I hadn't played a FM since 09 and wanted to get used to everything with a team that I could do whatever the fuck I wanted. Ended up winning everything (like THE QUAD) with them so many times that it got boring and I went for a challenge with a "random" lower team (aka let my boyfriend who knows nothing about soccer to pick from a shortlist based on the names) which ended up being AFC Wimbledon. Ran the table with them, got promoted, lost a lot of good players because the board were dicks, picked up Le Fondre for my League 1 run and he tore shit up until I saw Birmingham fired their manager in the Championship. Applied, got the job, they were about 14th in the table. Won automatic promotion (one goal off of winning the title). Started the Premier League campaign so-so but I haven't messed with it in about a week.
