Don't know why it hasn't been posted yet, but I thought I'd give you guys a heads up. It's been going on the last couple of days but places are selling out fast. I just ordered one from Barnes and Noble. Good luck if you want to buy one.

Is there an underlying reason for this? Are they bringing out a new version soon or are they discontinuing their tablet division?

I got a 32GB one Saturday. Haven't opened it yet; don't know if I will. I had the Asus Transformer for a couple of weeks, and didn't care for it much; it's supposedly better than the TouchPad.

I got an order in on B&N first thing this morning, but i'm convinced it's 50/50 at best whether the order actually goes through. Was worth a shot, though. Dead operating system or not, it's gotten pretty decent reviews. And there are already people working on bringing Android to it.

Lucked out today. Went to the Best Buy around the corner from my office, and they had just gotten a shipment in, so I picked one up. When my co-worker called over there a half hour later, they were out.

I had ordered one through Barnes & Noble a couple nights ago, and I still haven't gotten the "Sorry, we ran out and have to cancel your order" email. It's supposed to ship tomorrow. Kinda hoping it still does. I'm amazed at what these things are going for on eBay.

Amazon.com's Aug 24th Deal of the Day is the DS game "9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors" for $20.99 (regular $34.99).

I'd heard this was one was really good so I may actually pick it up. It'll be the first game I've bought for my DS in years. YEARS.

999 is a fantastic game, I was hooked and immediately played through it 7 times(to get all 6 endings, messed up once and got a repeat ending) within a few days. It's very text heavy, so if that's not your thing stay clear, but it's got a great story and above average puzzles.

Really enjoyed 999 as well. Played through it multiple times, and the ability to accelerate through text you've already seen should you repeat a particular path portion is a godsend.

Steam has a ton of Paradox games on the cheap. I picked up the complete King Arthur games and Penumbra. Penumbra is a pretty damn good point and click horror game

Yeh, that was one of my first DS games back in 2008. It was pretty awesome. My only complaint was the repetitive level design. But I had a lot of fun with it. Has the DS come out with a similar Castlevania game since then? I know there was one which came out before Portrait.

I had picked up Driver this week also. It looks like a lot of stores put it down to $40 like Bezt Buy and Gamestop too. Best Buy's GAMER magazine also had a $10 off coupon that was good last week, so I had snagged it from there for $30.

Another notable sale for those interested in niche games, Catherine is on sale $39.99 at both Amazon and Best Buy.
