Amazon's sales kinda disappoint me this year. They really only price-matched other stores but not even the best prices or all the prices and a lot of them as Lightning Deals.

I've definitely noticed that. I'm pretty sure that last year Amazon was doing much bigger discounts and also either higher quantities or just fewer people trying. I haven't seen much that really stood out this year.

At one point Amazon had Yazuka IV for $10 - has anyone played these games before, is it worth a buy? I think its jumped up to almost $20 now but still considering it. Ive never played a single one of these but they look interesting.

I've scored decent on BF deals so far....Mortal Kombat for $20, GTA IV for $10, Heavy Rain for $15, and waiting for the $35 deal on NBA 2K12 here today. Very close to throwing down on Batman AC too for $28.

If you find it at Wal-Mart, the Arkham City/Arkham Asylum GOTY double pack is 28 as well. The Associates will try and swear to you it's not the case, but any of the games behind the glass that are on sale, will ring as Black Friday price.

Didnt have the double pack of Batman games at WalMart, guy claimed they didnt do that for ps3 but I call bullshit on that.

I did end up picking up WWE All Stars though for $15, Yazuka IV and Bioshock 2 for $10 each. Bowwwww!

I bought Gear of War 3 for 35 (with 10 dollars in MSP added in...so like...25) the new Assassin's Creed for 35 and Battlefield 3 for 28. Since I almost bought both all of those recently for 60...I take it as a win.

Alright you got me I bought the Kinect Disneyland game for 35 also. I don't care.

I also bought some used games dirt cheap from gamefly. Dead Space 2 and Child of Eden for like 8 bucks each.

Bestbuy.com is offering Metroid The Other M for the Wii with free store pick up for $4.99. Just ordered mine, they'll hold it until December 3rd.

Only game sale I really got in on was Singularity for the 360 at Wat-Mart for $10. I've heard a lot of good things about it, and I've been wanting to play it for a while. I was thinking about getting COD:MW2 but at nearly $30, I passed. Might go hit up Best Buy later and see if anything is left.

Games Deal Sharing Thread

I wasn't sure where to post a current deal, so I thought I'd create a thread to highlight deals, whether it is something like one of the truly limited editions or a really good deal.

For those sports gamers, Toys R Us started a new deal this week. Madden 13, NCAA 13, NHL 13 and FIFA 13 are all "Buy 2, Save $50" this week.

Seeing NHL and FIFA were so new, I ordered both of those for $74 after tax, so not too bad. I would guess it is available in store but the shipping was free and expected this week, so I went with that. These games will all probably be around $30 around the holidays for those who can or rather wait.

Yeah, it's in store too; you save $10 if you buy one and $50 if you buy two.

Sleeping Dogs is also on sale for $40 on Amazon and at GameStop. Buy that shit! I'm waiting for a sale on Borderlands 2 myself.
