His death was likely horrific. She spends as much as a week dead and he doesn't have the capacity to signal for assistance or even recognize the situation. He probably wasn't eating, bathing, or even toileting properly. His body would have been sending him signals to address those needs but the fucking Alzheimer’s intercepted the messages. He might have died of heart disease on paper, but he was likely going to die of a handful of other things in short order.
Hopefully they wrap this up and let the family mourn him peacefully and let his memory have some dignity.
