A big cat poacher has reportedly been killed and eaten by the pride of lions he was trying to hunt.

The suspected hunter was heard screaming for help as he was mauled and bitten to death by lions in the Ingwelala Private Nature Reserve in Hoespruit, near Phalaborwa in South Africa.

The pride were unhurt and it looks as though they saved themselves from the unfortunate fate of Cecil the Lion and his son Xanda, who were both shot dead in South Africa.

Authorities presume the man was hunting the lions, who left his head almost untouched, after a hunting rifle was found close to what was left of his body.

They knew it would freak people out more to find a head like that. That's cold.

As of Thursday afternoon, the Colorado Department of Corrections website listed the parole eligibility date for Michael T. McFadden as Feb. 2331.

That's no longer accurate, though. On Tuesday, McFadden, 46, who in 2015 was sentenced to at least 316 years in prison for violent sex crimes against children, became a free man because of a technicality.

After his conviction, McFadden appealed, claiming the delays before his trial violated state laws, the Grand Junction Sentinel reported. An appelate court agreed in 2017, KKTV reported, and on Feb. 12, the Colorado Supreme Court declined to hear the appeal, which meant the lower court's ruling would stand.

McFadden also doesn't need to register as a sex offender because his convictions were vacated, the Sentinel reported.

Republican candidate Arthur Jones, a Holocaust denier who has been disavowed by his own party, will be the GOP's nominee in a suburban Chicago congressional district after he ran in Tuesday's primary unopposed.

Jones's campaign website contains a section called "The Holocaust Racket" in which he argues that there is "no proof such a so-called 'Holocaust' ever took place anywhere in Europe against the Jews" and that Jews are "directly responsible for the murder of at least 300 million people."

Jones in February told the Chicago Sun-Times that he's a former leader of the American Nazi Party.

I'm not convinced he's a piece of shit, I think he likes to stir the pot more then anything. The fact that he's given people like Shapiro, Milo and Gavin McInnes a soapbox their voices isn't ideal but I don't know if it's an indictment of Joe personally. Those same people have all done much more high-profile shows then his podcast.
