Xplosion:

* Alex Shelley defeated the debuting Kazuchika Okada from New Japan.

*The Amazing Red defeated Kiyoshi and Homicide.

*TNA Knockout Tag Team champion Hamada defeated Traci Brooks.

Impact 2/25:

*Abyss pinned Desmond Wolfe with A Black Holy Slam. TNA champ AJ Styles and Ric Flair jump Abyss and Wolfe joins in. Hulk Hogan makes the save until Flair takes him out and all three are beating on Hogan. They handcuff Abyss to the ring and beat down Hulk, who is busted open. Abyss breaks free and runs off the heels. Hogan announced he will team with Abyss vs. Flair and Styles on 3/8, saying if Flair wants to get involved, he may as well be involved as a wrestler.

*TNA Global champ Rob Terry pinned Ken Anderson. Anderson was doing mic work before the bell, ripping on Kurt Angle and the medals. Angle snuck up from behind and drilled him with a chair. Terry then nailed a powerslam on Anderson and pinned him.

*ODB defeated Daffney by DQ when Daffney went nuts.

*They have a segment where Eric Bischoff admonishes Jeff Jarrett for not killing Abyss with the barbed wire bat, so Jarrett has been sent to go work in catering as punishment. He puts a hairnet on Jarrett's head.

*Beer Money Inc defeated The Motor City Machine Guns, Generation Me and TNA Tag Team Champions Matt Morgan & Hernandez in a non-title match. Morgan was playing a cocky heel and Hernandez wasn't happy.

Impact 3/4

*The British Invasion laid out Rob Terry after he beat Doug Williams.

*AJ Styles and Ric Flair come out and call for Hulk Hogan to come out. Hogan comes out with Abyss. The heels try to back out of the tag match by offering Hogan all their rats. Hogan says he doesn't want anything from them except to get them in the ring. He said he told the world he wasn't going to wrestle in TNA, but after what Flair and Styles did, he and Abyss have to. Flair says that if that's how it's going to be, he's going to get the one thing he never got during his full-time career, a chance to pin Hogan on national TV. He and AJ go to leave but Eric Bischoff comes out and announces Styles will be wrestling later tonight in a Four Way.

*They do a segment where Angelina Love calls out Velvet Sky and ends up beaten and whipped by The Beautiful People.

*Ken Anderson does a promo dressed like Kurt Angle ripping on Angle for being the wrestler who gets hurt the most in the entire business. Yes,. really. Angle shows up and they have a good brawl. In the end, Anderson blinds Angle by throwing something in his eyes and lays him out with the Angleslam.

*Jeff Jarrett pinned Tomko.

*TNA champ AJ Styles forced Pope Dinero to submit to a Figure Four in a 4-way that also included Desmond Wolfe and Abyss. Wolfe joins Flair and Styles in working over Dinero and Abyss tries to make the save. Flair nails him with a barbed wire bat. Hogan makes the save and uses the barbed wire bat - YES, HOGAN WITH A BARBED WIRE BAT - on Flair, to bust him open. Security and staffers hit the ring but Hogan cleans house and promises they are going to get them, on Monday. A brawl breaks out and in the end, Dinero helps Hogan and Abyss run off the heels

So, anyone have any clue to what the line up is for the next PPV?

AJ, Wolfe, and Flair would make a good stable. Wolfe could be good in a enforcer kind of role for AJ.

I was going to mention how AJ now beating Pope makes no sense, but honestly I don't care anymore. I really don't. I'm sure there's Flair interference or a cheap lowblow or some bullshit the spoilers didn't pick up and maybe it'll be great when it finally airs and it'll all make perfect sense. I dunno.

I'm not sure how AJ beating Pope doesn't make sense since AJ and Flair pillmanized his ankle, meaning Pope is out there on a fucked up ankle still trying to beat AJ. The only confusing part would be why Bischoff would send Pope out for the four way match unless Pope isn't his selection to be the man of TNA.

And if Anderson could actually learn to wrestle, the spoilers make it sound like a mildly good feud. But Anderson is so damn bad in the ring that there is little to no hope for the feud.

Henry had several good matches in his 06 heel run. Taker and Rey were able to have good matches with him . Angle for whatever reason was not able to

I'm not criticizing Angle it's just that he would not change his style to adapt to Henry like others did in that time frame

Henry also had good matches with Booker in late 03.

Henry was also incredibly entertaining when teaming D'Lo Brown in '98 and early '99.

I don't really think a lot of Kennedy but I also don't think he flat out sucks. I thought he had two enjoyable matches at the PPV and even his match with Abyss didn't bore me like the way his 1st Abyss match had me just waiting for it to end.

Kennedy just seems like the sort of guy you need to find the right dance partner with. And while that short tournament match with Angle didn't necessarily give evidence that they're a perfect match it didn't do much to suggest Angle couldn't elevate him. Angle's pulled awesome matches out of questionable talents, as recently as October with Matt Morgan. I don't see why he can't have good matches with Kennedy.

So, anyone have any clue to what the line up is for the next PPV?

Destination X isn't until the 21st of March so even after all these tapings are done they'll still have 2 weeks of Monday shows to set the PPV up. But right now if I'd have to guess I'd say:

Abyss & Pope (& Hogan?) vs AJ & Wolfe (& Flair?)
Kennedy vs Angle
Beer Money vs Hernandez & Morgan

With these matches possibilities, although few of them very compelling:
Kaz vs Doug Williams
Rob Terry vs Brutus Magnus
Sean Waltman & Scott Hall vs Kevin Nash & Eric Young
Daffney vs Tara
Velvet Sky vs Angelina Love (I have a feeling Kong will make her return with Hamada to back up Love on the live show on teh 8th)

But bear in mind there's still teh "all X Division" rumors so there may well be some kind of event or tournament announced that's missing from the spoilers.

But Hogan Era TNA has also been pretty bad at waiting until the last minute to set up a PPV so I'm guessing we'll go into the 8th only knowing a couple of matches and then they'll book the card on those last 2 weeks.
