I watched two of his rants and they seem like some character driven monologue for his theater program he's spent the last week memorizing... like none of it seems real at all and the fact there's so many memes for a shooter not even 24 hours later is hurting my mind.

I totally expect in the next few years one of these psychos will livestream one of their shootings and shout a bunch of "lol epic memes" during their rampage. Today is the day the internet finally broke my mind.

Seriously. As I was watching it, it all seemed so written and fake, especially with the cheesy evil chuckle every once in a while.. but I guess not.

Well, if they're fucked in the brain, I'd imagine they don't see the people they are killing as innocent. Someone should've been monitoring this guy a lot closer than they already were as apparently the signs had been there since he was a kid.

Even if you don't see them as innocent, killing them is another thing entirely. He knew he was taking the lives of other people, and he knew there would be consequences which is why he killed himself in the end. He wasn't that out of touch with reality, he was diagnosed as 'high functioning asperger's'.

His family sent him to therapy and his online footprint was reported to the police before all of this happened, I feel like maybe the police didn't take the videos seriously enough.

This one is pretty fucked up. Of course, they're all anonymous, so who knows if they're just trolling.. Very disturbing if this person legit sees it this way. :o

i don't know what you're talking about. this type of behavior from someone of his status is something that should be viewed in a positive light and universally respected by the entire community here. to us, what makes him special was not because he went for the high score (which i snot something he was trying to do) but the fact that he is someone we can all relate to on some levels. in other words, he understands us and we understand him. unlike the average person here, though, he did something that should be respected and broke out of his cocoon and rightfully took justice into his own hands. again, i must reiterate, the goal was not a high score. no, he set his own rules and developed his own game. although some will paint him as a beta, that is far from the case. he publicly documented his struggles, another commendable effort might i add, he wrote a touching 150 page manifesto (which i am about halfway through right now, very compelling read) and he fought for his beliefs online. men everywhere are starting to realize that everything in america has gone to shit since women have had the right to vote. allowing women to have the right to vote was a decision that we will never be able to recover from, and at this rate, it loos like we are going to have a full fledged gender war eventually. this is only the beginning. first it is the wizards in training like this hero, then, it's the man who loses his right to see his children. then, it's a few militias that will be labelled at extremists. once people understand how serious of a problem this is, the war will expand. the extermination of the female's right is the end goal. this is the hero we need to finally start the process of exterminating the female parasite once and for all. if hillary is elected, she will certainly be taken care of quicker than one could possibly imagine in the upcoming gender war. it's a damn shame elliot won't see his vision become a reality.

Just as it was with the dude who shot up Sandy Hook Elementary, a lot of bigger issues at hand with this guy than high functioning autism. I don't think it's (entirely) a gun control issue but a mental health issue. Dealing with the mental health issue though is scarier for a lot of people in a lot way than dealing with gun control though.

That manifesto is the ultimate suicide note, it outlines how he feels about everything in his own life and the world. It's kind of crazy that we get this kind of insight into these mass murderers now, the digital age.

I completely agree with you about mental health. People just don't seem to care unless it effects a member of their family but it is a huge problem that touches on so many things in society.
 
I see the usual gun control talk and yet not the common thing that ties all these bullied outcasts together is the fact they were getting a ton of pharmaceuticals pushed onto them before they were even in their teen years. I don't think I can take it anymore when everything else gets analyzed for an extended period of time while there's a quick mention here and there, "Oh by the way he was on adderral and such and such."

I don't know but to live in a society where kids can take the legal equivalent to what is speed and it isn't as much of an issue as what kinds of marriage adults can participate in and other bullshit on that level that doesn't matter has always given me a migraine if I think about it too much.
