The Jon Voight "this boner I got" scene is so fucking funny, man. I was in hysterics sitting in an IMAX theater, one of maybe five people at the screening.

That was great. Also, Aubrey Plaza stealing the show and Shia Lebouf in drag. Can't say Coppola doesn't lack in ambition

For the record, I liked this movie, but yeah, it's rough in stretches.

Probably a dumb statement, but this movie is kinda the opposite of something like "Joker" for me. That movie has fans, but to this day I am confused by people getting something out of it. It's an empty film with no merit. This I don't like, but I don't think it's meritless and I totally get why someone would like it. I just wish I did.

I thought Shia, Aubrey, and Adam Driver understood how insane the material was and hammed it up, but the rest of the cast didn't. That lead actress, in particular, grinded the movie to a halt at times. I thought Voight (Boner scene aside) and Hoffman were bad, and looked like they weren't all there mentally tbh. It's not a good movie, but I liked some of it. I'll watch it again unlike Joker 2.
