We got deals, options being picked up/declined, and retirements already!

- Diamondbacks 3B Eugenio Suarez is having his 2025 option picked up, according to Jesse Rogers of ESPN. He'll make $15 Million.
- Dodgers OF Kevin Kiermaier announced that he’s retiring on Friday. He won the Gold Glove 4x in his career, very solid player.
- Yankees exercised their one-year, $2.5 option on RHP Luke Weaver. Great deal for the Yankees if Weaver can simply be 80% of what he did in 2024.
- Cincinnati will be rebuilding their pitching as Reds’ RHP Nick Martinez has declined his $12 million player option for 2025 and Reds’ RHP Jakob Junis has declined his side of an $8 million mutual option for 2025.
- Blake Snell has exercised the opt-out clause in his contract for the 2025 season.
- Tampa Bay exercised their one-year, $10.5 million team option on INF Brandon Lowe.
- Rhys Hoskins exercised his one-year, $18 million player option for 2025 to stay with Milwaukee.
- Angels acquired INF/OF Scott Kingery from the Phillies for cash considerations. Kingery was stuck in AAA but had a 25/25 season, will be interesting to see if he can stick with the Angels 25 Man Roster.
- Royals declined INF Adam Frazier’s 2025 option, according to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com. Not quite the player he was in the mid 2010s, will be interesting to see which team takes a chance on him.

Teams have probably already been asked if they'd like to trade for Rhys Hoskins.

The Athletic’s Aaron Gleeman reported that the Twins will likely try and trade RHP Chris Paddack this offseason.

Robert Murray reported that the Red Sox signed LHP Justin Wilson to a one-year, $2.25 million contract.

Jon Heyman confirmed reports that the Angels signed INF Kevin Newman to a one-year, $2.5 million deal with a club option for 2026.

Daily News’ Gary Phillips reports that the Yankees and LHP Tim Hill have a mutual interest in a reunion. However, after signing with the Yankees, the left-hander had a 2.05 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and 18/9 K/BB ratio in 44 innings.
