I played most of the big games, like Mario 1-3, Mega Man series, and TMNT, but I also have some fond memories of games that are probably considered to be less than stellar, like Jaws and Yo Noid, but come on, who wouldn't like a game based on the Dominos Pizza Noid?
After years of hearing about how difficult it was, I actually played Ninja Gaiden for the first time last week on one of the emulation sites. Pretty unforgiving, indeed. I got to the point in 6-2 or 3 where you have to jump across several platforms filled with enemies and a barrage of flying birds and pretty much gave up. Obviously falling is the number one cause of death, but why are the birds 3x as harmful as bullets in this game?
