Seeing replies from people that regularly watch NBATV, and they say that co-host constantly threw snide remarks towards Sam Mitchell when they covered Summer League together. He finally pushed Sam's buttons enough that he went into kill mode.
Edit: According to people that kept watching, Mitchell actually said the address later in the preshow.

Lonzo Ball continuing to accrue injuries as now he has a right wrist issue and will be out at least 10 days.
Warriors beat the Celtics and are 7-1. Not the start to the season I expected at all but I'll sure take it.

The Wall Street Journal has reported that Inside the NBA will be licensed to air on ESPN/ABC starting next season. The show will still be produced by Turner and the crew will remain associated with them.
I just hope it's as good as Dwayne Wade's statue
