NBA 2025-26

The Pelicans fired Willie Green.

New Orleans is 2-10, last in the West, and the Hawks have their first-round pick, unprotected.

I also just saw that the Thunder currently have another FOUR first-rounders coming to them in the next draft through trades, two of which are currently in the lottery. And one of those two is from the SGA/Paul George trade. Still.

Rodney Rogers passed away yesterday at age 54. He had been paralyzed from the shoulders down in an ATV accident in 2008, and his death was ruled as being from natural causes stemming from that. He played 12 seasons for 7 teams, was a member of the Denver Nuggets team who famously upset the top-seeded Sonics in 1994, and won NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2000 while with the Suns. RIP

Chris Paul was sent home by the Clippers this morning, less than two weeks after his retirement announcement.

I can’t even LOLClippers at this point. Just an absolute garbage franchise.

No kidding. The season is a total loss. No reason for him not to retire as a Clipper. The internet wants OKC to pick him up. I get that. But would be a shame for whoever lost their spot for the feel good story.

Elden Campbell passed away yesterday at 57. The all-time leading scorer at Clemson, played 15 seasons in the NBA for five teams and made three finals appearances, including a championship with the 2004 Pistons. RIP

I just today noticed that Puke Walton is the assistant coach for the Pistons. Hopefully they don't need to fire JB anytime soon

I was rooting for the Spurs (because Fox is my guy) but, man, they totally wilted in the fourth quarter.
