(I know they started winning Soups in ‘01 but IMO, they escaped from the sewer when they hired Bill Parcells and drafted Drew Bledsoe.

By the doctrine created here by us the sewer council a couple seasons ago, Patriots aren’t full fledged residents of the sewer just yet but they are absolutely renting with intent to buy.

New addendum added is that a playoff appearance isn’t enough now that it’s expanded, even a sewer team can get in the drain and come out but eventually they are quickly plunged back down where they belong.

Miami Dolphins (They have a U-Haul booked and are packing up)

Patriots need to finish this season with no signs of hope (that’s assured) and then the council will assuredly vote them in.

Edit: forgot the Saints exist and that might be worse than being in the sewer.

Bill’s press conferences are an absolute embarrassment now. It’s like a sitcom in its 11th season where the joke that used to be funny has been run into the ground. I am surprised someone in the sports media hasn’t told him to go jump in a lake.

This org is all over the place.

Was gonna happen on due time, man... guy had the legal issue over the summer (rightly or wrongly) then supposedly was late to the hotel while battling injuries. That's not even going into the issues last year that started cropping up before he was placed on IR I believe. Anybody who followed the Patriots knows he was a goner, just surprised the Patriots didn't boot him at the start of the season.

Guy has 1st round talent but there's a reason the Patriots took a risky flyer on him in the 4th Round (and some people thought that was too high for him at the time)

Allen's turning into the new Brett Favre/John Elway. Great talent but keeps turning the ball over and sabotaging his team's chances at success as a result.
