When Dallas gets eliminated from the playoffs before the Super Bowl, Jerry will send McCarthy packing and trade for Belichick.

Assuming Bill doesn't want to remain in NE going forward, because if he does he isn't going anywhere. Kraft can't be stupid enough to fire him.

I’m of the belief that the Patriots just need to start new from the top down, including Robert Kraft handing reins over to Jonathan. ‘00s and ‘10s were awesome beyond my wildest dreams but nothing lasts forever. I think the last five seasons are proof enough for me that the Patriots Way is in need of some renovations.

Miami needs to average 23 PPG over their last 4 games to reach the 500-point mark for the season (89 points away). Dallas is 79 points away and needs to average 20 PPG.

There have been 27 teams to score 500+ points in the regular season. Dallas also did it back in 2021.

Jets clinch their 8th straight losing season.

Also they were officially eliminated from the playoffs. 13 straight years without a playoff appearance. Longest active streak in the 4 major North American sports.

Chicago Bears analysis:

First of the defense played great. They got zero support from the offense.

There was a lot of talk the past week that Eberflus and Fields are turning a corner. They aren't. Today confirmed it. Eberflus passed on two FG attempts in the game. One for a failed end of 1st half hail mary. The other for a failed 4th and 2 rush. Fields once again showed he can't process the field quickly or even make a decision quickly. Wildly inaccurate. I'd ship him out for a 2nd rd pick instantly. Probably would even be fine with two thirds. The Bears made the GM Ryan Poles decisions pretty easy after today's failure.

Fun Fact: There's 5 kickers with a long FG this year of 60 or more yards (unsure if a couple have made multiple). 2022 had 5, 2021 had 4 (Tucker's crazy 66 season), 2020 had 1, 2019 had 1, 2018 had 2, 2017 had 2.

I feel like especially since 2021 teams have gotten far more aggressive in the distance they are willing to let their kickers boot it from considering the success rate.

Chicago media that was at the Bears/Browns game is bailing out Eberflus over the lack of long field goal attempts. Cairo Santos was missing badly short from 52 yds in warm-ups.

Mina Kimes just dropped a "god damn" on the Manning Cast. Maybe that's allowed now but she sorta giggled after she said it. Mannings no sold it.
