Back in 1991, during the Randy Savage/Jake Roberts feud, there was a segment after a Jake Roberts squash match where Jake got on the stick and baited the Macho Man into the ring where he tied Savage up in the ropes and had his infamous king cobra bite and gnaw on his arm.

My question is, was the cobra devenomized by the laboratory was there REAL venom shot into the Macho Man's arm? Anyone here know the backstage story here?

Macho died later that day and was replaced by Mr. Madness.

The 1950 AWA title switch between Gorgeous George and Don Eagle exists, that would've been televised.
I forgot about this one but the footage available has Russ Davis doing commentary in post production and has no mention of the title so it's easy to forget

Jake has said in interviews that Savage made Jake let the cobra bite him to prove that it had been devenomized.

Speaking of the Macho Man, I remember him saying in many interviews that admitted to taking steroids. Savage died of heart failure in 2011. Do you guys think that Savage's past steroid use is what led to his death in 2011?

I'm still surprised that Hogan and Scott Steiner are still with us, (at least, right now), giving how THEY also took steroids, as well.

Superstar Graham lived to be 79 despite the damage he did to himself. It's not a death sentence but it's a life ruining one. But it's my hope Hogan goes first of the two.

Great 1972 documentary on the Houston territory. Features interviews with Paul Boesch and various fans, who make this doc totally worth watching with their various observations and such. Some of them are pretty out there too. They don't make wrestling fans like this anymore!

Plus footage of the following matches with at least one participant each that I've always wanted to see:
- Dean Ho & Nick Kozak vs. Mr. Fuji & Gypsy Joe Rosario
- Terry Funk & Dory Funk Sr. vs. Wild Bull Curry & Paul Boesch
- Red Bastien vs. Thunderbolt Patterson
- Johnny Valentine vs. Stan Stasiak

Watching this is mandatory.

You also have to remember that while these guys all did steroids that mess with their health, a lot of these guys are in legitimately tip top athletic shape at the time (and even post-wrestling sometimes) so that covers up a lot of the health issues. I'd make an argument that all of the other drugs e.g. cocaine, etc. probably did more harm and/or led to earlier deaths more-so than the actual usage of steroids.

Being a jacked 6'6" 285 on steroids is wholly different than being 6'6" 285 with some muscle but also a ton of fat on the body.

I didn't know where else to post this, but I had some of Goldberg's cousins on one of my tours today. It was funny because one of them said they were from Calgary and I said "ah, the home of my favorite wrestler ever" which made them go "uh oh, Goldberg is our cousin!" I was floored, especially when they said the kid with them was originally supposed to be celebrating his birthday at Goldberg's house but was there instead. They were super cool people and it took all the effort in the world to not ignore everyone else and just pepper them with questions.

I can claim outdrawing Goldberg with his own family now, proud of that.

Marc Summers would leave the business in like two hours. As soon as the first rib to fuck with his OCD happens.
