The only Pearl Jam album I didn't like at all was Binaural. I haven't listened to the new one yet but I'll get around to it soon. The last album was pretty good I thought. Vs. is their best.

They're playing a show here on Saturday as part of a huge festival in Central Park. The tickets were free, you just had to tweet some message then you were entered into a lottery. Totally dropped the ball on that one.

I've got to see them. What sucks is the two shows closest to me are at Bonnaroo and Jazz Fest. I feel like the better show would be a more intimate one inside. But I decided to skip the Eagles last year and we all know how that turned out.

Their own concert would be a better show than a festival, as they tend to stick to hits and well known stuff when playing festivals. If you have to choose between Bonnaroo or Jazz Fest instead of a straight PJ show, I think Bonnaroo would be the one you'd want to attend, as it'd adhere more towards a traditional PJ show.

I saw them in Philly in 2009 (missed them in 2013), and if I remember correctly it came out to $70-$80 or so w/ fees & such tacked on for general admission.

EDIT: also, the last time they announced a single show for Toronto, they ended up adding a second one the day after. Hoping that happens this time as well, because seeing them back to back, two nights in a row, is what I did last time and it was fucking phenomenal.

Got 2 tix for the 4/29 Philly show! Ticket price was $77 plus $13 in fees, so $90/each.

Yeah, I got three lower levels for 68 plus fees which came out to be 82 and some odd change. The ones I ended up getting are on the side of the stage and I originally got lowers which were in the back of the stadium but Ticketmaster being Ticketmaster the website froze so I lost them. At any rate, the side stage seats are actually closer, albeit a bit behind the band.
