Fucking awful. What a horrible year it's been so far. The man was an amazing performer and wrote some of the best records ever.

RIP.

Creepy GM said:
Seems like more celeb deaths than usual.

People say this every year, and will continue to forever. More people become famous every year, hence there are more famous people available to die every year. More regular people die every year too.

Not enough crying smileys in the fuckin' world wtf he was just talking about his new memoir.

He always looked so young and seemed so fit/healthy for his age, never had drug rumours surrounding him. I'm in complete shock, I thought he was going to live to 100.

I don't feel like writing a memorial but he was truly a unique GOAT in music, the revolution wasn't just a band name for bit players this guy really did make innovative music that would be copied by tons of other artists still to this day. RIP goddamnit Fuck AGGHHHHHH

Damn this sucks. I wasn't that big a fan of him but appreciated his work all the same.

2016 is the worst fucking year.

Christ, dude was a musical genius that, as Czech said, was one of a kind.

Everyone on Twitter/Facebook seems to think that they are the first person to come up with, "So this is what it sounds like when doves cry."

Papi LeBatard with the shout out to Prince on Highly Questionable, giving us a few bars of "Little Red Corvette" during their signature commercial spot.

When I was 13 I tried to figure out a way to hitch a ride 30 miles across the Bay to the Cow Palace during the height of the Purple Rain craze. Never made it but my sister did and I got a tshirt, program and ticket stub out of it. Finally got to see him live around 1999. Wanted to see him perform live one last time...

I saw him live in '04 during his big comeback tour after he got inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame. Easily, one of the best concerts I've ever seen.

Like Bowie's, he's one of those guys who I've been listening to my whole life since my dad was such a huge fan.

Bizarre to think that Little Richard has outlived Bowie and Prince. Some of those '50s rock stars must've made a pact with the Devil.
