I'm choosing to interpret this as Vince being fired by his own company.

Vince resigns the first time, puts HHH in real power for the first time. HHH puts together the bullshit "investigation" and was probably told Vince wasn't going to come back, but he did, and took the power back. Now he's forced to resign, giving HHH the power again, and he has no desire to put the mask on that he's glad he's gone after getting fucked over last time.

I guess. I dunno. HHH is a scumbag and probably doesn't want to jeopardize whatever he has.

As one source noted to me this morning, "if anyone believes for a second" that Endeavor owner Ari Emanuel wanted to discover the type of allegations brought forth in the Janel Grant lawsuit, not just about a company he purchased - but a company that has been employing his own daughter at WWE HQ for several years - they "don't know Emanuel" and they don't understand how "ferociously he will eradicate" anything that needs to be taken care of to protect his businesses. The same source noted that if Emanuel was willing to walk away from Saudi Arabia investments years ago without "blinking an eye", he'll have no problem "removing anything and anyone still remaining" that could potentially hurt or impact WWE's business going forward.

The reality is, as anyone who works for WWE now will privately attest, it's not the same company it was before Endeavor took it over. Not from a culture perspective. Not from a corporate perspective. That truth has pained some who work there (and some who have departed) since Endeavor took over, because the world there changed. But, that also means there's not going to be a protection for anyone just because they were in Vince McMahon's - or anyone's - inner circle. That's not how the company operates. Not anymore.

Imagine “The System” Paul Levesque standing in the ring at Cicero Stadium in front of 1200 neckbands and trying to sound emotional as he says “TNA is HOME!”

So what exactly is Bruce Prichards role at this stage? There has to be some sideeyes given to him lately with all of this terrible and sick shit dropping on Vince. He's gotta be on his way out if he's continued to be loyal and close to him. I certainly wonder how implicit he may be involved.

Sooner than later too, the board of directors of WWE back in 2022 needs to be addressed in how they seemingly either sidestepped all of this due to influences beyond their control (it was clear Vince was playing all kinds of games in this period to get back in power) or did Vince keep alot of these explicit detail from hardly anyone except Johnny Ace. But if the verbiage about her being trafficked around to one talent to the next, how could this NOT be something that even a board who were on their way out upon the TKO merger, not still inform these respective board members for TKO on what may be on the horizon on this? Was there additional coercion to board members from Vince etc to keep their mouth shut, "or else" in a threatening manner? As we have seen from this situation, the depraved levels of manipulation and coercion were insanely deep and scary.

Even if many in the company knew the gravity of all of this, my guess is Vince probably reassured those in positions of an executive level that the manner with Grant was fully addressed and "taken care of" via the NDA to alleviate fears. But once he stopped paying the NDA, how could anyone not be preparing for this shit to hit? Maybe some were preparing for it, which explains how Vince clearly has been privately pushed out of most of anything in day to day operations with other than Saudi shit. I thought his positioning during the Rock announcement was telling too. He wasn't involved in any interviews after the Netflix deal. His stock exchange role was just standing there by the side. It felt like he was literally replaced in a way by Dwayne. There even was a photo of a board meeting that Rock was front and center at the table instead of what I would assume would be Vince.

I just figure its a matter of time that both Grant's attorney tries to get others that have had these "interactions" with Vince to come forward similar to Weinstein and Cosby's cases, and I wonder behind the scenes with federal agents may be putting together in a criminal case against Vince and Laurintius in the very least as well, maybe even something deeper in exploring the work culture of potential sex trafficking with multiple women throughout the years. If there is some determination that the other 7 NDAs cant be enforced due to the possibility of rape, sexual assault, etc, then watch the floodgates fucking open up.

I really hope she saved all the texts. I get the feeling she saved a bunch based on what's public but I hope there's undeniable killshots. Even if there's nothing left from Vince himself, if there's messages from Johnny or Brock or whoever, those guys would roll on Vince hard for preservation.

I really am afraid but very interested of what comes out now. I feel like the office is its own fucked up beast but I'm very curious what talent we hear from with actual definitive things, not vague tweets or something. Like my first thought was the Diva Search losers who somehow got jobs, or the first girl who won that they never talk about. What kind of deals are being made for the Saudi shows, because if Vince is pimping people to Brock for a contract extension I 100% believe he's throwing people at royalty or some shit. Open up the Ashley Massaro situation again because I don't think she even told half of her story. Talk to every on-air female employee from Chatterton to date.

Also fire Hayes because I know he knows all kinds of shit.

I’m skeptical they fire anyone they don’t absolutely need to to keep up appearances. If the company had some kind of ethical backbone they wouldn’t be in this position to begin with.

WWE's dead, this is Ari's company and from what I read, he'll send everyone to the moon if necessary in order to preserve profitability.

I'm not in HHH/Steph's bedroom like Valeyard is though, so I may be talking out of turn.

Ari's daughter was working in the office when this was happening. So I'm sure that adds an extra bit of anger to all of this. He isn't going to do anything out of ethics. This is about protecting his investment and putting his stamp on the company (as well as a dose of anger).

Also unlike some billionaires, Ari did return $400 million worth of Saudi investment money after Jamal Khasoggi was brutally murdered. I underestimated his character.

He is undoubtedly an indefensible billionaire douche in a lot of ways but he doesn’t seem that bad for someone that they based an Entourage

Cena and Taker were there too. Get your tin foil hats on tight!!!

Apparently Ari's kid was Bruce Prichard's "executive assistant" if Kamala's friends at WrestlingClassics are speaking accurately.

Bruce is enough of a slippery eel that I can imagine he would sell out Vince if it meant keeping his job and/or staying out of prison. It’s not like Vince hasn’t fired him in the past.

WSJ:
Federal authorities have been investigating sexual assault and sex trafficking allegations against WWE co-founder Vince McMahon, according to people familiar with the investigation.

Prosecutors in New York in recent months have been in contact with women who have accused McMahon of sexual misconduct, the people said.

The billionaire resigned last week from the wrestling empire he long ran after former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit accusing him of sexually abusing her and trafficking her to other men inside WWE.

McMahon has denied Grant’s allegations and said the federal probe won’t find wrongdoing. He referred to a statement from last week: “I intend to vigorously defend myself against these baseless accusations, and look forward to clearing my name.”

WWE didn’t respond to requests about the probe or about the individual women’s allegations

Over the summer, federal agents executed a search warrant for McMahon’s phone and delivered a subpoena to him for documents related to any allegation of “rape, sex trafficking, sexual assault, commercial sex transaction, harassment or discrimination” against current or former WWE employees.

The grand jury subpoena, described to The Wall Street Journal, offers the first window into the investigation, which began in 2022. The Journal reported in 2022 that McMahon had made payouts to several women who accused him of sexual misconduct while he was CEO and that prosecutors were investigating the payouts. The subpoena also sought communications between McMahon and these women, including Grant.

The businessman and TV personality resigned as executive chairman of WWE parent TKO Group on Jan. 26, the day after Grant’s lawsuit was filed. Her complaint contained graphic depictions of sex acts and copies of explicit text messages.

Grant and at least four of the women named in the grand jury subpoena had entered into settlement agreements with McMahon over allegations of sexual misconduct. Prosecutors have interviewed some of the women, the people said.

Grant’s lawsuit said McMahon agreed in 2022 to pay her $3 million to keep silent about their relationship, which she said began after they met in 2019 at his luxury apartment building, where Grant also lived. Grant, who worked in the talent-relations and legal departments at WWE from 2019 to 2022, said in her lawsuit that McMahon stopped paying her after an initial $1 million wire transfer.

The other women named in the grand jury subpoena include a WWE contractor whom McMahon allegedly sent unsolicited nude photos and sexually harassed; a former WWE wrestler who said McMahon coerced her into giving him oral sex; former WWE referee Rita Chatterton, who publicly accused McMahon of raping her; a spa manager who said McMahon assaulted her at a Southern California resort; and a former WWE employee who alleged the head of talent relations at the company at the time, John Laurinaitis, demoted her after she broke off an affair with him.

McMahon has long denied the rape allegations by Chatterton, first made publicly in televised interviews in the 1990s. He agreed to a multimillion-dollar settlement in late 2022 without admitting wrongdoing. His lawyer said he agreed to the settlement to avoid the cost of litigation.

McMahon hasn’t addressed the allegations by the other women.

Laurinaitis also appeared in Grant’s lawsuit, which said McMahon directed her to visit Laurinaitis at his hotel rooms, where she had sex with Laurinaitis before the start of workdays. The suit also alleged that the two men took turns restraining and assaulting her inside WWE’s offices on one occasion in 2021.

Laurinaitis, a former wrestler known as Johnny Ace and a longtime WWE executive, left the company in 2022. Laurinaitis hasn’t publicly commented on his departure.

A lawyer for Laurinaitis, Edward Brennan, said, “We deny any and all allegations and will vigorously defend the charges against Mr. Laurinaitis in the appropriate setting.”

Brennan said Grant’s lawsuit doesn’t highlight any examples of Laurinaitis making sexual demands or exchanging items of value. “Count how many times in the complaint Vince exerts control over both the Plaintiff and Johnny,” he wrote in an email, referring to his client. “It’s a good complaint. It just doesn’t list all the victims, including Johnny.”

McMahon briefly left the WWE in 2022 during a board investigation and returned in early 2023. Soon after, he negotiated a sale of WWE to Endeavor Group , owner of the UFC mixed martial arts league. The deal created a new public company called TKO Group and until last week he served as its executive chairman.

TKO Group had warned investors about the risks associated with WWE’s longtime leader, who remains a major shareholder. In securities filings last year, TKO Group said McMahon’s presence on its board could result in negative publicity and “any further allegations and investigations may have an adverse financial and operational impact on our business performance.”
