Given he had been around since the late 70s IIRC I'm not sure I'd buy the story of SD being the one propositioned. Now if Roma is mixing things up and SD was commenting on the other younger guys being harassed and saying "It's not worth it" I can see that as more likely.

This is purely me reading between the lines but the way Roma says “of the age” and stresses that with pointed facial features and body language with a pause before moving on, I took it as him saying there was an underage (at the time) victim. That would fit a “worse than Janel Grant” scenario. We have heard of these as rumors and more than rumors for years and we just had Mel Phillips freshly accused again. I would bet that Roma is referencing someone under 18 and executives covering it up in the least to participating in the worst case scenario.

The timeline doesn’t match up for Jones but is the only former partner that died from a brain bleed that I am aware of. The possibilities are Roma is an unreliable narrator in that he is lying or in that he is mixing up some details/the timeline from 35 years ago; or that Roma is talking about multiple situations and his phrasing made it sound like it was all the same person. The former teammate going to the brass and that ruining Roma’s push may not be the same person that left the business immediately. The way he worded it is a bit non-linear.
