fuck that shit. Blur is great and so is Oasis

may I posit though, that Pulp is possibly better than both? A contentious argument that I'm not sure I believe in

I do find it funny that the biggest brit rock bands of the early 90's seem to hate each other and can't let it go. I think the beef is mostly Liam though

Oasis has so many great songs. I prefer Liam's version of "Sad Song" too.

Liam Gallagher is spending his pandemic by beefing with Mark Lanegan from the Screaming Trees on Twitter.

Watched a stripper dressed as Naruto do a routine to "Wonderwall" some months back. No self awareness. Funniest thing I've ever seen.

Sounds like there’s a chance the lads might be announcing a reunion. There is a video posted on the Twitter accounts of both Gallagher brothers, and the official Oasis account, teasing some sort of announcement tomorrow at 8:00 AM.

I honestly didn’t think this was ever going to happen considering all the bad blood between the two brothers. Then again, if I were a cynical person, I would point out that Noel is in the process of getting a divorce which is going to cost him a ton of money. I know Liam basically begged Noel to get back together when he got his own divorce years ago because he needed the money so badly, and Noel refused which just added to the tension between them.

The British press is claiming there is a deal in place for Oasis to headline the Glastonbury festival next summer and then go on a tour for an insane amount of money. I guess we will see.

Ah shit! https://www.nme.com/news/music/oasi...dium-2025-liam-noel-gallagher-tickets-3787539

Now, they’ve launched the OASIS LIVE 25 world tour with 14 stadium dates set to take place between Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin next summer. These will be the band’s only shows in Europe in 2025, but a press release states that “plans are underway for OASIS LIVE 25 to go to other continents outside of Europe later next year”

There was a leaked list of dates (which turned out to be accurate for the UK shows) listing a MetLife gig for next August. Which is pretty ambitious considering they never played stadiums in the US and they were never the cultural phenomenon over here that they were in Europe. But I'll be there.

It’s official: The band will play at Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Ontario on Aug. 24; Soldier Field in Chicago, Ill. on Aug. 28; Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. on Aug. 31; Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles, Calif. on Sept. 6; and Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City on Sept. 12. Cage the Elephant will open for all the shows.

Interesting sidenote: Rogers Stadium in Toronto does not actually exist yet, but apparently it will be ready by next summer. It’s a new concert venue which will accommodate approximately 50,000 people. I believe it is not too far from where the infamous SARSSTOCK concert took place back in 2003.

A stadium tour in the US will be interesting. I can't imagine tickets movkng that well. Also more interested to see if they can even coexist for the next year before falling out again.

Ticket prices for this are outrageous but I guess that’s the new norm. But a lot of artists have been struggling to fill shows and some even have cancelled, so hopefully they get the message sooner than later.

I guess there was thing where you had to sign up for a presale code, and I didn’t, so maybe I’m not going? They added a second show at MetLife so there must be big demand, and I’m that dude who buys late and low whenever possible.
