Mick Foley just announced on his Twitter that he's going to be doing some guest commentary on the radio broadcast for the Nets/Celtics game tomorrow. As if their season couldn't get any worse!

Given that Foley's from Long Island, maybe he's an OG Nets fan.

God, can you imagine anything more depressing than being a Nets fan for forty years? Outside of the ABA Championships way back wehn and the back to back Finals appearances in the early '00s, not a whole lot to cheer about.

I imagine given the lack of Nets fanbase, it's easier for him to get courtside tickets or do things with the franchise

Is it just me or does the Nets' mascot Sly Fox look creepy as hell? It's the eyes. They make him look he's been on a massive coke bender. I don't know how I didn't notice by him/wasn't creeped the fuck out by him when I went to a Nets game last season. I mean, those eyes...they don't look friendly to children!

Now that you mention it, I remember the little person mascot! But somehow I didn't recognize them as the creepiest, ostensibly "kid-friendly" tandem since the heyday of Doink and Dink The Clowns.

Greatest Crosstalk ever today with Kellerman, Marcellus Wiley, Steve Mason, and the Kamenetzkys. It's at the beginning of the Mason and Ireland podcast. Crosstalk is usually the best segment on 710 ESPN.

Recent sporting events have done what I previously thought was impossible: they have caused my hatred for Joe Buck to wane. How could this happen?
