MJF (c) vs. Alec Price

Limitless World championship
Dezmond Cole (c) vs. Donovan Dijak

30-Man Battle Royal

MJF/Price is a lesson in timing and selling and making things matter. MJF works Price's arm over early and frequently, which plays into the whole match. With some time and seasoning? Price can be a solid upper card babyface. ***3/4

Cole/Dijak isn't as good as MJF/Price, but it's close. Cole has some of the most fun face spots around and Dijak has been killing it since hitting the indies again. This has one of the most fun finishing sequences I've seen in a while. ***1/4
 
He'll be fine once Chasyn Rance shows him the ropes.
 
OVW referee Dallas Edwards had a seizure during a match at last night’s show. the “talent” in the ring continued to work the match despite his clear medical emergency, there’s video of this incident but i won’t post it here.

his girlfriend tweeted a small update notifying that he suffered a brain injury that will continue to be monitored by doctors.

100%. BOLA was the biggest thing in independent wrestling every year and served as a showcase for top unsigned talent to get their shit in and prove what they could do.

I do wonder if Super Dragon just isn't smart enough to sign contracts for that weekend only, prioritizing those dates over others with the talent he's booking, but that's likely a headache and a half to do.

Agreed. I don't think OVW was particularly negligent. Their big sin is it took 30-60 seconds for someone in the back to figure shit out. But the workers in the ring were absolutely clueless and that does fall on their training.
